So, I'm a big fan of dark skins and white-on-black text. I find large expanses of white or other "bright" backgrounds hurt to look at.
The main site has a fairly neutral background, and black. So that's fine.
This board, on the other hand, is quite a bit on the bright side for my tastes.
How easy/difficult is it to implement different skins on proboards? If it's not too difficult, would it be possible to add a "dark" skin just for weird/creepy people like me? If not, how about changing the colour scheme to be closer to that of the main site?
Of course, this is going to make me look like a complete idiot if there already are multiple skins and I've completely not seen the option...but I can live with that. I think.

...nah, I like me better just the way I am.
It'd be nice to get some kind of [O]fficial response on this.

I've helped to run a few Proboards forums, and the skins creator can be a little daunting at first: Essentially it'd be up to Tom, whether he wants to grant someone privileges here enough to work up a skin or two, or if he figures he wants to spend the time himself for one or two extra options, but either way I've got some various skins I wouldn't mind copying the hex codes over for, should that pull through. One of them having very dark gray background colours with lightish cream text.

Well, I guess it's possible, if somewhat annoying. Dark grey with cream text sounds just about right, I think.

High-contrast mode isn't what I'm looking for. And I don't use a mac.

Tom already stated that this board is hardly a priority for him, if he ever decides to do anything with it, he'll probably switch to a better forum software like phpBB.

For me this forum is not too bright, even if i have sensitive eyes. Of course, TFT always make effect being nothing but a light upped film. Unlike CRT which is radiation cannon which tears your eyes. Anyway, i prefer if you try config your monitor little dimmer. Its help. Also make sure you use higher frequency with CRT, or you suffer nasty effect..
