Wait, isn't Jeanne's plight like a major contributor to the storyline? Crap, are we nearly at the end of GKC?

Thanks, Jeanne. Now, would you mind wiping that other stain you inflicted from Andrew's chest? Wait, isn't Jeanne's plight like a major contributor to the storyline? Crap, are we nearly at the end of GKC? Very much doubt it. There's a huge number of storylines left to resolve. This is just one of the earliest one, and was really overdue for resolution.

I was wondering, if this exact comic was going to happen. The question now is, if Annie ever noticed it.

Are we witnessing her losing her memories as Mort did before entering the Ether? Or does she honestly not remember Annie?

Wait, isn't Jeanne's plight like a major contributor to the storyline? Crap, are we nearly at the end of GKC? The search for resolving the mystery that was 'Jeanne' was just the spark that ignited the birth of Katholic Robo-Religion of Mecha-Angel ...which is what the GKC clearly will be about next!

Are we witnessing her losing her memories as Mort did before entering the Ether? Or does she honestly not remember Annie? I'm assuming it's her losing the memories the closer they get to the Ether. It's feels pretty obvious that they're about to be guided to the GREAT BEYOND but I could be wrong. Also, I have a feeling that another guide will be showing up fairly soon.

Huh - something funny. The Green Man gave her something she lost, and Jeanne removed something she gained. Annie's looking much more like the girl who first fell in the ravine now. I wonder if that was intentional.

Duuuuuuuuuuude
First the hair clip
Now this
Is there a name for the fetish for having relatively small or unchanging things from waaaaaaaaay back in a story being reincorporated?
I have it
I have it hard

Ahhhhh I feel like Jeanne definitely can heal some certain young man from an injury that she inflicted (kinda like Annie's scar). you know. that guy.But she doesn't seem to notice that guy! She seems very set on riding the boat with her lover by now, and it seems... chunky that she'd sit for only a little bit and then get out to help a (fatally wounded) young man. But still, I pray. Can't wait for Monday!

Hard to say Her cut was a purely etheric wound, showing no trace in the real world Andrew straight up has a dirk in his chest I'm not so sure his injury can be wiped away so easy

Why do they actually need to hurry? There are no Court people around who might see them as a problem (and since all their records have been erased, no Court person should actually see them as a problem).
Maybe Jeanne does not have so much healing abilities, but the ability to revert things she did. In that case, bring her to Smitty stat.
Also, I still wonder how Green Guy brought Annie her hair clip. Since his bones are still on the bottom of the Annan Waters, he must also be able, like Annie, to move things in reality while being in the ether himself. Maybe that ability comes naturally to tree elves?

I bet that's gonna get a whole lot harder now, especially since Kat's etheric-nullification powers are more of a thing. You've answered the question right there. We'll be able to tell when scenes are taking place in the ether because they'll all look SUPER boring.

It seems their memories have flashed back to their last moments. That would have been before the command was given to erase the records, and with all the people that were waiting on the cliff edge above Jeanne may have been aware she was being followed.

it's a shame the psychopomps don't meddle in the affairs of the living, else I would say Annie deserves some help with a certain dagger situation for all the work she and her friends did here with Jeanne. I expect a thank you note from at least two departments!

After the gang does their thing and Annie tucks Jeanne and Loverboy in to the comfy ether, the cut on ethereal Annie's face heals as if by magic. Called it! Sorta.

That's great. There is only one tiny problem left which is a dagger in smithy's chest. It would be cool if you could also heal that you know.

This is probably a combination of the elf illusion being restored and a seeming return of both to their mental state at the time of their deaths. Surprised there aren't any other psychopomps showing up though, now that the danger has (seemingly) passed. Gee, I hope Annie bothers to actually ask them about who they are, what happened and maybe something about a certain seed bismuth rather than just rushing them off into the ether. Why do they actually need to hurry? There are no Court people around who might see them as a problem (and since all their records have been erased, no Court person should actually see them as a problem). It seems their memories have flashed back to their last moments. That would have been before the command was given to erase the records, and with all the people that were waiting on the cliff edge above Jeanne may have been aware she was being followed. Yeah, this is a thing that happens to dead people, apparently.

Are we witnessing her losing her memories as Mort did before entering the Ether? Or does she honestly not remember Annie? Do we have any evidence that Jeanne ever knew who Annie was (beyond just another Court student)?
