Bumping so 113 sitings can go here and do not want to clutter the "Cool things I only noticed on reread thread". 113 sighting on page 639, panel 2.

113 is not 42
(except in base 0.5+sqrt(39.25))

No, but forty-two is the answer to the question to everything.

That's an awesome find, Mir! Never would have picked up on that one otherwise. And yet now I can't seem to look away :\

Nice catch! I think everyone else was too busy being outraged at the "to be continued" to spot that! It is a difficult to see one too.

It was all the people analyzing who's in the group that just entered that lead me to study the image and see the occurance.

Whoa! I was watching Tom's ustream of the book 2 cover (part 1) and noticed that he inked in a 113 just above Rey's head on the arch. You can see it clearly at 2:17:13 here www.ustream.tv/recorded/1846777I don't own the book-is it visible on there?

I asked Tom about that once, actually. He said his 113 wasn't a reference to A113, just a strange coincidence.

Whoops first post and already thread necromancy. It looks like there might be a 113 in the newest page?

This thread was probably dead, and I was gonna post this on "Cool things noticed on re-read" but as I was reading it someone said there was a 113 findings thread, so I guess I'll put it here. Someone's probably noticed this already but just in case... there's a 113 in the first panel of this library scene. www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=72

Funny thing, Tom Siddell isn't the only one who uses the number 113 on his fiction. British writer James Roberts also uses said number with frequency on his Transformers works. Although, there is a reason of why he uses it: issue #113 of Marvel UK's Transformers was the issue that hooked into said franchise, and since them he began to write fanfiction when he joined TransmastersUK, a TF fanfic group. He's currently one of the most acclaimed Transformers writers on IDW (alongside John Barber), specially for his ongoing series More Then Meets the Eye.
