Maybe it's just me.. but I think the pages in this chapter are extraordinarily good. The dialogue in each page is just awesome. Even after having read it the third or fourth time it still makes me smile.. or grin. ;D
The way the second flashback is drawn is really cool too.
And I'm not the obsessive fan who blindly likes any page anyway and says stuff like this about every chapter.

Agreed.
Like most web-comic artists, Tom's skills have improved over time; though looking at his deviant page, he had decent art skills before GC, so perhaps there have been style changes as well.
Writing skills certainly improve with practice.

I think we all take away something from this tale that leave us a little better for it. At the very least its got plot and character development that does not drag out into long emo diatribes about the human condition.
I dont think im obsessive about this series, but i would not blame anyone that was. i think.

Even If i can check the update after I get home from work (I'm like 8 or 10 hours behind the UK) I rather read this first thing in the morning... because it makes my day start with awesomeness.
