A list of things that I can think of: - The make-up kit Kat gave to post-coma Annie
- The etheric scar (though most people have been talking about that all the time)
- Hettie???
What about: The footsteps that go into the painting? The mysterious coprocessor chip? The falling drinking-glass? The cursed teapot? Artilleryman? Cityface II? JOKER: somehow Annie's pregnantWhatever it is, it must be within few chapters close, or else Tom wouldn't have pulled out this kind of tease. "Dis gon bi guud..." EDIT: I want to comment about the makeup. I think it was just to show that Annie didn't put it on right away, showing that she had finally let Kat inside her guards down no-secrets (except little home work copying) true friends zone. Tom's stated that he dropped the footprints storyline. I'm 90% sure the drinking glass was just a metaphor/characterization. The cursed teapot is definitely a "noodle incident" sort of thing that needn't ever be explained, especially judging by Tom's comment on that page.

You got Tea up for this, Tom? Combined with what she had to do in her last appearance*, she's going to be walking soon! Meanwhile, we're so busy chuckling that we've missed what this very important thing is. *[edit] er, just saw the title of that old page...! Wow, was that really the last time she appeared? I could've sworn she popped up more recently than that. She did appear at the end of Vol 5 to give the usual 'happy holidays and enjoy your post-apocalyptic summer walking trek' spiel, but I consider that an 'end of days' rather than an end-page.

The one oddball bonus page we will never see in "Gunnerkrigg Court":
Panel 1. Kat reading "Gotham Academy" and saying to Annie, "Do they remind you of anyone?"
Panel 2. Maps looking at the latest page of "Gunnerkrigg Court" on the computer screen and saying to Olive "Do they remind you of anyone?"

Some of you may be thinking that this breaks the trend of pages with Tea being increasingly apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic. (Tea appears on pages 16, 32, 148, 294, 394, 599, 833, 1055, 1167, 1453, and 1591. (Source: Gunnerkrigg index)) It is true that the trend is strongest on the two-week-break announcement pages, but 394 and 1055 do not rightly break the trend. However. Over the past four pages, Tom has broken format, engaged in meta humor, trolled the fanbase, and broken the fourth wall. Today he did all of those things, in the title, and the text, and the image. Gunnerkrigg Court pulled a Homestuck. This is surely a sign of the apocalypse. The trend continues.

Seriously. It's 'Important'. It's about a heartbeat monitor which was just a 'precaution' when Tony was channeling Surma through Annie, and that suggests the Court was observing the situation carefully, possibly with prior warning. It's as wild a hypothesis as any, but why else drag Tea back in at this point? [edit] Gripping hand: Tea is making the same gesture in the final panel of both pages. Well, in hindsight, the Court must have had some idea what was wrong with Annie, considering they were silently keeping track of her father (although how much they really saw from his little trip in etheric-nightmare-land is questionable). How that might be relevant in the future ? Dunno.
But really, I think Tom drew this page just to have fun at people who try to interpret every little detail, not to hint at something that's really important.
True, the 'gotcha' of the similarly posed final panel could just as well be a laugh at Tea being caught flat-footed and having to ad-lib using recycled material. None of us know, but it's fun to speculate, however barmy the conjecture.

I know they have some weird flavours over in Japan, but I haven't heard of this one before.
