I hate to be that guy, but I believe Tom has said that the bonus pages are non-canon. His chance to do something fun without messing up the storyline. EDIT: I stand corrected! I was searching through the Formspring answers and found one where Tom said the bonus pages are canon. I still hate to be that guy. The one exception being any page involving Tea, who is explicitly non-canon. She's appeared in one or two bonus pages. Specifically, information that she gives us is canon, but she herself (and the events of her bonus pages) are not. |

I think there's very strong evidence that the robots can see the etheric version of Kat, that is, the same thing Zimmy sees. Otherwise, why would they be all agog at their first glimpse of her? They are NOT all agog at their first glimpse of her. For some reason they credit her with finding the Jeanne shrine, and they are agog at *that* and respectful of the fact that the entrance to it is through Kat's workshop (and thus they have to get her permission to intrude into her space to go see it), but very few of them other than Robot and the weatherbot referred to her as "Angel" before the seraphim gave her that mark... and they took a fair amount of convincing before doing so. You want to see robots agog at the first glimpse of someone?  |

Bit late but: remember when Annie appeared to set her hair on fire in front of all the Court staff, the day she got made Forest Medium? She clearly expected everyone to see that, not just the ones that happened to be psychic. (And we know she can do visible fires with the blinker stone - remember all the various little fires she made with that, which were seemingly entirely "real", but didn't burn things unless she told them to.) So Annie letting off an entirely visible fire, that then just disappears without a trace, is entirely something Annie does (perhaps especially when she's just done something very weird to her ether form and is still getting used to it). But it's obviously news to the poor robot :-)
I would say the robots definitely CAN'T see the version of Kat that Zimmy sees (which may or may not be the normal etheric version), given that they keep referring to how beautiful she is. Either that or they have an odd idea of beautiful. (The robots do have odd ideas of most things.)
And Bandolute, that's a very good drawing - and hilarious. Welcome to the forum.

I thought Annie's hair was longer than it was in the previous chapter and her request to tidy it up was an indication that she was slowly letting it grow back out. But it makes more sense that this was the day she chopped it off herself. You were right. For future reference:  The standard way to embed tweets doesn't work here? |

The standard way to embed tweets doesn't work here? I don't know about anyone else but my autolinking just makes hash on Proboards. Actually, about one in six or seven times copy-paste links also come out hash or they just mysteriously disappear between the preview and when it posts. Or it just loses the post and I have to start over. Sometimes I'm just happy Proboards lets me log on. |
