Kat is here for Annie's weekly break from Anthony's sensory deprivation experiment.

I don't actually know what I expected Anthony's housing to be like. This is probably the most accurate thing available anyway.

All we know is it's the stereotypical "long, nearly empty, high-ceiling room with white walls."

If this is where Anthony has Annie staying, I will immediately begin research into the theoretical physics of reaching into a fictional universe in order to punch a fictional character.

The whole of a seriously under-populated metropolis in which to find a place for Annie. And this...?*
*Assuming it is.

Obviously this is not where Antimony lives since this is not an appropriate living space for a fourteen-year old. Obviously this is Kat inspecting the command centre for the operation "Saving Student Antimony (and her little dog too)".
After the clang-clang a cold metallic voice speaks: "Enter codeword. Hint: It's your name." Kat: "Don Katherine" Voice: "Incorrect. You are Katherine Donlan The Angel" Kat: "We talked about this. My name here is Don Katherine. Have you not gotten the intelligence update yet?" Voice: "Whatever the Angel wishes, as the disciples it is our duty to listen." Kat: "It's not disciples, it's henchmen. Where are my lieutenants? Is everyone in position?"
To be continued (by whoever wants to)...

Something very ominous about this page - the long stretch of white in a sea of black looks like some dark religious imagery, or a psychiatric ward, or a trap. It also reminds me greatly of the most recent book I've read in my Spanish Literature class, Aura (by Carlos Fuentes), which plays a lot with darkness/light motifs.

I doubt this is Kat visiting Annie. Doesn't seem right, but I'm not ruling it out... Alright people, let it begin. What are we looking at here?

I want the shadows to be Smitty and Parley, the inaugural members of the Coalition to Liberate Annie and Rescue Renard (CLARR). Incoming members, Robot, Robot Army, Shadow, Zimmy, Gamma, Paz, Jack and Jenny, Ysengrin the rest of Year 10 and Winsbury's hair. Basically, everyone. Secret codenames coming soon.

I got the feeling that Kat's not visiting Annie, but starting up a conspiracy against Mr. Carver...

It didn't even occur to me that this might be Annie's lodging. Instead, it looks more like part of the Robots' domain.

This isn't Annie's new place. It's something else. Maybe Renards new cage?
Although, coupled with the title page, a sort of "dumbledores army" type resistance amongst kat and Annie's schoolfriends doesn't seen out of the question.

Two figures squirreled away in the corner of a vast sterilized and empty room. With the lines on one of them suggesting they're huddled up.
...This is a completely wild guess, but could this be where Zimmy and Gamma live? Whoever's in there don't seem to be locked in. And I can't think of anyone else (that we've met already) that the court would force to live like this.

Also - there's direct access to the roof (with Zimmy's need for rain, that could be a very good thing), and there are no students or Tictocs or teachers which could facilitate Gamma's job (remember how she's also very influenced by Zimmys power? She touched a student's face before she found out he was real). Kat had enough time to change, though, and I really hope she talked to her parents. Annie's trust for authorities other than her father might not be great, but Kat usually is more reasonable than that. Annie really, really needs help, and she isn't going to get it herself.

As of now I'd guess the figures were robots, but Wednesday can prove me wrong.

The Vorlon made Annie get rid of all her personal belongings to eliminate distractions. Except for the mattress, but that was more of a concession towards the need to sleep.

So Kat is sneaking around? Hopefully, this is not Annie's new home. Or Reynardine's. It looks so grim. Two figures squirreled away in the corner of a vast sterilized and empty room. With the lines on one of them suggesting they're huddled up. ...This is a completely wild guess, but could this be where Zimmy and Gamma live? Whoever's in there don't seem to be locked in. Annie's trust for authorities other than her father might not be great, but Kat usually is more reasonable than that. Annie really, really needs help, and she isn't going to get it herself. Good call! The lack of stimulation would probably be very soothing for Zimmy too. Kat's wearing a different outfit, but this may not be the same day. Do you think quite some time has already passed? Her hair length looks the same, so it would likely not be more than a few weeks. Unless she had her hair cut again... Planning the 1st step of Mission: Chip Away the Plaster Face. aka Mess Mr Carver up.

I got the feeling that Kat's not visiting Annie, but starting up a conspiracy against Mr. Carver... This is my thought, too. Kat's body language is pretty shifty for going to her friend's house... Robot conspiracy, I'm hoping.

It looks like such a depressing and terrible kind of lodging that, clearly, it can only be Boxbot's house.

I like that theory, although Zimmy has stated before that she doesn't sleep, so there would only be a need for one bed I guess.

A general meeting place? Psychiatrist's residence (is that the correct word)? They might be the same chairs as in the chapter title page. Maybe it is a virtual sim?
