Indeed, I was also wondering if the sword always glowed or not.

Still, that glowy sword would be pretty useless for throwing in close quarters. Whether his opponent is unbeatable or not, outdoors with lotsa space is probably always better for Eglamore than cramped indoors, unless his opponent had a similar advantage. So far we just know that Jones is... really hard to damage, which is just as good outside as inside.

I'm pretty sure it's the same sword he was just sparring Parley with, and as proficient as she is with the Judo Throw, there's know way they're not using blunted practice sword.
Still able to cut, but you'd have to work pretty hard to get anything good out of it.

Hey, I had an idea: We know that Jones shows no emotion, and it appears that the sword made a 'skang' sound when it hit her face. Is it possible that HER FACE IS MADE OF METAL?
Or... or something like that. Even if she's not a robot.

Or... or something like that. Even if she's not a robot. If you break a bone, sometimes you get a metal plate put in for support. Maybe she broke her entire face, which is why she can't show emotion. (in case if yous guys can't tell, I'm joking.)

Or! It *did* hurt her, just not at that moment. If anyone's read Maskerade they'll know what I mean.

I haven't, but I recall something about magic not existing and hands starting to bleed several hours after they were used to block a sword barehanded. Pretty sure that's from a movie, just can't recall which. And if Jones' face or skull is made of metal, shouldn't we be seeing it after Eglamore struck?

And if Jones' face or skull is made of metal, shouldn't we be seeing it after Eglamore struck? Depends. If she's made out of flesh-coloured metal (I have no idea what that would be. The only thing that comes close is some kinds of marble) then no, we wouldn't.
