Huzzah!
I wasn't here from the start (though I wish I was - I'd have loved it just as much when I was 11), but I'm terribly happy to have had the chance to be following it for as long as I have - it's wonderful. Thank you Tom for 10 years of amazing work, and I look forward to what is yet to come for Gunnerkrigg Court.

It was thanks to this Flaky Pastry page that I discovered GKC. Edit: That's strange. He wrote back then that people should "peruse [his] webcomic links" to find the referenced comics, but he has since removed GC from the list. What! The! You!

*throws confetti around Woohoo! I've been reading since the first 10 pages. In such a transient medium as the internet where a whole lot of webcomics die and disappear after e few issues or after many issues I am obliged to Tom for sticking with it, through the hard times and not giving up. Here's to as many years yet.

Wow, what a milestone! Thanks to Tom for keeping up the great work on Gunnerkrigg all this time. I can't count the number of interesting webcomics that start out strong and then just sputter out and disappear. Tom is one of the elite webcomic artists that keep and maintain a great story over the LONG haul. And it is so fun to see the comparison from his early work to today. His artwork and storytelling have improved steadily over the past ten years. Thanks again Tom! I have no idea how many more years we have to look forward to, but I appreciate the steady updates!

These ten years, and it really shows in the quality of your comic. I was only here four years. Thank you Tom.

I've only been reading this webcomic for three (and on this forum for 2.5), but I wish I could have been here for the rest - and I plan to stay with this comic for as long as Tom plans to continue it. Thank you, Tom - without sounding insincere, you have created a work of art, and I hope you bring it to its conclusion

Kind of crazy to think that Gunnerkrigg Court has been with me for more than a 1/3rd of my life so far.
The ending is going to be bittersweet.

I just checked my regdate here on the forum. Apparently I've been following the comic for around 7 years. I think I found it when a friend who follows a chan-site saw it there? I don't even talk to that friend much anymore, that's how long it's been. I recall coming in somewhere around the "Fangs of Summertime" and I've been a huge fan since. Even in the beginning, it was obvious to me that this comic was something special. It's just gotten better and better. Ugh, you guys. This is just great stuff. If Gunnerkrigg was a child, it'd be long in school by now.

If Gunnerkrigg was a child, it'd be long in school by now. We'll plan to celebrate another metric in a couple years - when the age of the comic catches up to the age of the protagonists.

I started reading back when the comic was in what I believe is chapter 18; I remember the page that showed up on the main page when I was binging to catch up. It doesn't seem like that long ago until I look at the chapter numbers for where it's at now.

Tom this afternoon: "And, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of my comic, I will make EVERYONE CRY THEIR SOULS OUT. It will be fun! MUAHAHAHAHAH."
Ah haha! A man of my own heart! Hehe.
Does this announcement make me ten years old?

It's rare to see someone follow through with something creative like this. I would've gotten tired of this long ago. Nicely done Tom. Congrats and keep up the great work.
I've re-read multiple times, so I'm not exactly sure when I switched from binge reading to waiting for updates. Somewhere around Chapter 30. I came here from the links on Questionable Content, which I've since stopped reading because bleh.

Does this announcement make me ten years old? Well then, a very happy birthday to you! You could always celebrate by blowing Anthony out like a candle once Annie inevitably sets him on fire.

You!It's not on the word list, but it is one of the buttons. Well, I figured out how to get the fullsize image, but I don't understand why it's still showing a thumbnail. Ooooh, because "Attachments not manually inserted in your post will be appended to the end". Hmmm.Attachments:

It's not on the word list, but it is one of the buttons. Aha, Adblock apparently counts those as ads for some reason, so I don't see them.

I first came across Gunnerkrigg Court through the hardbound collections, at the local library. At least the first two volumes were out by then, and after reading them a couple times I followed the web address given in the back to the trice-weekly updates online.

If I remember rightly it was TVtropes that put me on the path, after I encountered Coyote on the "Trickster" page. Was like "Gunnerkrigg Court, I like that name. I might just check it out".

Good grief, I have binged GG archive three times and still that never caught my eye. ...you're not the only one who missed that. I did an archive binge when the recent Kickstarter occurred, so I'm here from the Girl Genius fandom as well, though via a different route.

Good grief, I have binged GG archive three times and still that never caught my eye. ...you're not the only one who missed that. I did an archive binge when the recent Kickstarter occurred, so I'm here from the Girl Genius fandom as well, though via a different route. And that link led to precisely the page I expected it to. So not everyone missed it. (Granted, I remembered the page being shot from a slightly different angle.) By the way, EVERY sign on that & the next page refers to a webcomic. Unfortunately, some of them are now defunct (that page is eight years old). More or less from left to right (the ones with asterisks, I read regularly): * Girls with Slingshots (on the dragon's knee) just ended in mid-March, darnit, and is now in reruns (this time with every page in color). So if you're new to it, start here rather than at the beginning. * Wapsi Square is active. *Gunnerkrigg Court is active (obviously). Something Positive is active. Arcane Times (under the horse's nose) apparently died (not ended, just died) a year before the GG page linked above went up. Dominic Deegan ended not quite two years ago. The artist has a new comic, Star Power. Home on the Strange ended not long after the GG page linked above went up. The artists' next comic apparently died (not ended) in 2008. The Devil's Panties is active. Buck Godot ended in 2009. It's by the same folks who do Girl Genius. * Order of the Stick is active. Namir Dieter is active. I hadn't looked at it before and will be checking it out. Digger finished in 2012. Couldn't find anything about a new comic. * Freefall is active. The artist's wife has her own webcomic, * Carry On, also active, and both got nominated for the Ursa Major awards this year (even though Freefall only has one significant "furry" character and one minor one). Shortpacked (on the side of the building, down the alley) ended in January. The same artist has been doing Dumbing of Age for a few years already. * Questionable Content is active. Lackadaisy (next to the dog) is active. Bob the Angry Flower is active. Ah, let's see... there's a scrap of paper on the far right but I can't see any words on it. And a sign below the right end of the Dominic Deegan sign, but all I can make out is "EAT" which is far too little to work with... I think that's it.
