I don't think we've seen any real evidence that Jones doesn't like Annie. The only person she clearly doesn't like is Anthony "devoid of emotion" Carver. As an alternative to the love triangle/quadrangle theory (which IS overly soapy, perhaps) , I wonder if it may not be because he treated Surma badly. But I think her aloofness to Annie is just part of her character.

I don't think she caught her cheating. She was standing quite far away from Annie when she entered the room. Also, she always looks like that. Jones may still just be testing Annie, and may wish to seem neutral.

On a quick note... I noted lots of posts about Jones not liking Annie... Love triangle blah blah blah... But I had to stop and think and look over the comic again... But does anyone think that Jones might be being a bit rude to her because she caught her cheating? Not sure about that, but the impression I get is that a) she's being harsh in order to be kind and b) is skeptical of Annie's abilities. |

I think she's harsh 'cause that's just her nature. She's curt, cunning, and intelligent.
