Related…then that might explain her bitterness about Anthony's disapproval. Kind of like, "He didn't deserve her…glad he's gone…she wasted her life with him…grumblegrumble" so on and so forth. As a sister or a cousin or something. Which would explain why she seems to dislike Annie in a way, more so than others at least. She is Carver's child. "grumblegrumble"
Oh, and no, that wasn't my theory.

...you know, I canĀ“t picture Jones having that kind of emotions towards anyone...

Jones doesn't show emotions, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't feel them.
Annie was similarly stoic in the first three chapters or so, but we've seen since then that she's certainly capable of emotion.

Did Tom happen to say she was completely unrelated to the girl in the photo? I don't really remember.
In any case, interesting thought.

Connected is possible, but he did said in that page that it was the girl who was definetly not the girl in the picture, and neither Gamma's mom.. so connected maybe, but just not her...what about TWIN SISTER

Interesting. Personally, I don't think Jones resembles the girl in the photo very much--here's why (this is judged purely on looks--after all, what else do we know for sure about Not-Gamma's-Mother-Nor-Jones?): 1. The girl in the photo had puffy lips, whereas Jones appears not to have any at all--like Kat, or Anja. 2. The girl in the photo's eyes are set further apart than Jones'. This is usually something that does not change with puberty 3a. Jones' hair appears stiff and blonde, while the girl from the FGCP (First Generation Court Photo) appears to have shaggy, light brown hair. 3b. In a similar vein, Jones appears, to me at least, to be milato. (sp?) Also, her colouring and skin tone are absolutely identical to those of a friend I used to have.

I don't know, that's just how I see her.

...Jones strikes you as mullato?... MAYBE she likes to keep herself really tanned at all times
