How did you discover Gunnerkrigg?
Did you read the entire thing overnight?
I think lots of us read the entire thing the same day we discovered the comic

I can't remember. Probably the same way I find webcomics- through other webcomics.

It's been a while, but a quick forum search reveals I found the comic through Dr. McNinja, for which Tom did a guest comic. I usually take several days to read through an entire archive.

I discovered it through a special webcomic awards strip in "Arthur King of Time and Space" by Paul Gadzikowski. King Arthur and Merlin were announcing nominees for a certain award; one of these was "Gunnerkrigg Court", with Antimony showing up when it was read to comment (in a not very Antimony-ish style) "Whatever". I was curious enough to decide to investigate it, and read the whole thing in an evening (at that time, it had gotten up to the Ghost Girl first showing up in Chapter Eight).

I found GC from Dresden Codak I think, he has a "Link" sections of the stuff he reads, and GC was one of those, when I got here it was mid Chapter 14 I think, and I read the whole stuff in a dary, in lunch break from office and at night in my house Funny enough, I read Dr McNinja, and it was only later that I found out about the guest comic

Oddly enough, I found it at this blog in one of the comments sections. I also found 'Family man' by Dylan Meconis there, as an example of 'good' webcomics. I read all of GKC over the course of a few days at least.

A friend referred me, knowing my insanely picky taste in literature... I was about to leave on the first page (most "my name is" beginnings did not bode well) but the art looked interesting enough. So I read the second page and read every other page after that in two sittings. =p

I'm a pretty quick reader, so when I first found it, I read through it all in one sitting, yes.

I discovered it through the "Other Webcomics I Read" page on Dr. McNinja. This was back in chapter 7, before Annie revealed Rey to the adults (I think it was this page), so I was able to read the entire archive in less than an hour.

I believe it was Dr. McNinja, much like the others who've said so. GC is now at the top of my Webcomix bookmarks folder

I discovered the court from a thread on the wizards boards (about psionic demotivators, go figure), and promptly read the entire thing in...oh, maybe an hour and a half, two hours tops. I'm now hooked on it like phonix!

After discovering xkcd, I read Questionable Content, which was linked to by xkcd. Then I searched the web for more and I started to take a look at the ones that had already won some awards. While a lot of them seemed pointless and boring, GC was different. I went to page one, saw that football headed Antimony and the introduction was quite boring too. I then read the first couple of pages to see whether there was an actual plot or something. Then I read the whole thing in two afternoons/evenings and it was totally worth it! Unlike many other webcomics, GC indeed has a plot and its not only fascinating but also thought-through. There is so much detail and complexity in the story... comparable with a crime fiction novel.
It's the best web comic I ever read.

I think I found it through Girly or something, and yes, I read it all in one sitting. ...and that sitting happened to be on a Monday night, so I also awaited the next page and read that. (This is when it still updated on Tues and Thurs.) As a matter of fact, here's the current page from when I started reading it: www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=158 : )

Honestly I couldn't tell you exactly from where I found this comic, though I know it was through another webcomic. But, being the weirdo that I am, I do remember the exact page that was up when I first visited: the title page for chapter 10. Spacemonauts! The word spacemonaut alone convinced me that my life would be that much more rad should I read all of the previous pages.
And so it was. And so it has been, many times over...*cough* Perhaps I need hobbies that aren't reading and re-reading fabulous webcomics?
Anyway, yes, all in the first day.

Guest strip for Girly. Thought the art was cool. Read the entire comic in one night. Was upset when I realized I had. Still reread as I wait for updates.

I was reading the tvtropes.org entry for "Dark is not Evil" and was intrigued by the description of the guides as "frightening, but nice".

I, too was reffered by a friend. I came in right when the fangs of summertime had just started, so it took me about a three days of reading to get through it. It was a little difficult to find the websight again, because Gunnerkrigg isn't apart of any of the webcomic groupings that I'm in.

"How did you discover Gunnerkrigg?"
As I recall, I saw an ad on another webcomic (can't remember exactly which one. It may have been Slightly Damned.) and the artwork looked interesting enough that I became curious. Next thing I know, I'd linked and become a fan. I found GC just before Tom started Ch. 15.
"Did you read the entire thing overnight?"
No, I read three chapters per day until I caught up.

A link from the Dresden Codak forums. Which means we can really thank the LiveJournal Random Image Generator, which is where i found the "Traversing The Luminiferous Aether" Dresden Codak strip and decided "I must find more!"

It was posted as an example of a good webcomic on a snooty-snooty literature board I frequent. Trust me when I say that was high praise from that forum.

I was reading the tvtropes.org Mentioning tvtropes.org just cost me 3 hours of my day. Thank you. (to anyone interested in storytelling; that site is dangerous WILFing material. Proceed with caution)

I found it through the links on Scary-Go-Round. I had actually passed up on checking it out until a few months ago, and I almost regret that I did. I read the whole thing in one sitting. This is probably the first webcomic I have ever read completely through multiple, multiple times, and I just keep wanting to read it through again and again. The story keeps getting deeper, the art is fantastic.. it's just so good.

But what the heck is "WILFing"? "Writer I'd Like to ****"? The term is remarkably similar to that other acronym, yes. In that context, however, "websites" would be both more appropriate and absurd though. But yeah, popo got it nailed. For similar absurdity, you could again assume I meant the first definition of "nailed" found on urbandictionary.
