Also, Awesome-O's should be a cereal. I would buy that cereal. It could have little plastic enigmarons and robots as a prize.

Oh yes, and about the writing on the desk: I don't know about yous guys but when I'm bored in class (especially in science, coincidentally) I write on the desks. That may just be what it is.
Or it could end up playing a major role in the resolution to every single conflict in GC. We may never know.

Might be an indication of something to come. Or just artistic details in the comic
Remember how disturbed Annie got when Kat showed her Grand theft Auto?

Ha, I'd completely forgotten that!
Annie is just a little uncomfortable around Kat's crazy side. Yet she's perfectly fine with psychopomps and the like. Go figure. Also, this comic may just be (as many others have said) showing her being nervous about her medium training, since she'll be with older kids.
And I just realized how much Kat reminds me of Tomo Takino from Azumanga Daioh in the last panel.

I would normally expect that having two slits followed by one slit would look more or less like a regular one slit pattern. But if the light varies significantly across the one slit the pattern may look somewhat different. If there happens to be a intensity minimum at the middle it may look more like the double slit-like pattern shown in Kat's glasses. But Tom's comment seems to confirm that it's supposed to be simple double slit interference. But then what's going on in panel two? There shouldn't be an interference pattern if you're transitioning between slits. i'm not entirely sure what you're question/confusion is but from my experience (which is existent but not extensive) single slits make these type patterns, double slits make these(ish) patterns and three slits make something like this pattern (where the peeks are bright points and the valleys are dim points) and i think the third slit you're seeing goes to something like a photocell detector to record and graph the light intensity Annie is just a little uncomfortable around Kat's crazy side. Yet she's perfectly fine with psychopomps and the like. Go figure. [...] And I just realized how much Kat reminds me of Tomo Takino from Azumanga Daioh in the last panel. well, psychopomps are more sedate than kat in mad scientist mode. also HAHA! thankfully kat's more competent than tomo

I think Annie might be worried that she'll be having different classes from now on and hasn't told Kat yet.

I love this place ;D

Ha, I'd completely forgotten that! Annie is just a little uncomfortable around Kat's crazy side. Yet she's perfectly fine with psychopomps and the like. Different forms of crazy. I'm good with psychopomp crazy but certain other forms of crazy scare me. Like the people who really, truly care about what Britney Spears is up to.
