That top banner looks awesome, hoping the product will be equally high-quality.

I just pledged! I got the Dr. McNinja version of the game with the first Kickstarter. It's a great game, even for people who haven't read the comics. I played with my family, and we had a ton of fun with it - very easy to learn, fun to play, and for those that appreciate the comic, made even better by the content of the cards!
I'm also pretty excited by the magnets, since I have Dr. McNinja and Sam & Fuzzy magnets already, so now I will have more! Woohoo!

Dang, do I need to drop ~$90 so I can get all of those GC Coins?! These webcomic kickstarters, mang... (just pledged for Love Me Nice today). <3 felderburg is the game similar to Munchkin? Edit: I see a coin-only level now. I must have missed it before!

Quote from Girl Genius's blurb on the game:
"It's such an amazing honor for us to share a project like this with GC, one of the best webcomics out there!" -- Awwwwwww!
It also pleases me that Coyote possesses one more point of power than Agatha. Hah.

A GC/GG crossover game with what looks like a fairly simple yet clever gameplay design. Now, this is probably one of the most brilliant things ever conceived by man! If I only had someone to play that game with...

Oh my. The only two web comics that I read regularly, all teamed up in one big package. Couldn't help but getting the ultimate thingy.

I frankly do not personally buy the idea of this crossover / game, but was happy to pledge for a coin.

Shouldn't be hard, then we can all play together ( Thoth, fwip, etc - interested in helping? Probably coded in Java.)

That requires a purchase though, doesn't it? True, that. Also, it's kind of a sandbox: you can manipulate physical cards, rules are not enforced.

Regarding similarities to Munchkin: I don't know. I haven't played Munchkin. I suspect watching the gameplay video (on the Kickstarter page) would help you determine that. I do know it's fun to play, and easy to pick up. Regarding coins: Yes, they are expensive. If you wanted the game and the coins, doing it by straight pricing would be $104 (the $29 dollar game, plus $15 per coin). BUT you can pledge the $79 level and get the game and 5 coins for a $25 saving! I'm getting the "Powers of Magnetism" tier, with money for add ons, myself - all 4 magnet sets, plus KS exclusive cards, plus a coin! Which coin? I don't know... but I'm not super into coins so that's why I'm only getting one.

I also have the 'no-one to play with' problem :-( Meanwhile, Kickstarter target met, so check your mail come July, folks! (and someone tell Wil Wheaton)

I know your question was answered, but I thought I'd point out that Tom himself is in the video for the Kickstarter (with a cameo by Boxbot! *wah wah waaahhh* trumpet noise). He looks way different than I thought, but has a delightful British accent.

I also have the 'no-one to play with' problem :-( I repeat that we should make an online version, if someone(s) purchases it.

I haven't signed up yet, but almost certainly will once payday comes around this week. Unsure whether to get the coin, magnets or both. (The robot coin is really nice. Boxbot is obviously tails, it can never be heads).

I wouldn't be surprised at all if this game was already on his radar. This is what he does, after all! But there's just sooo many good games out there... If we'll ever see a Legendary Showdown Tabletop episode? One can only hope.

O M G I just watched the kickstarter movie, and now I finally know how Tom looks, and may I say, damn! rather dashing! (no homo) he looks much better than I expected. The way he draws himself always, and never showed his face before, I always thought he wasn't good looking.
... dunno why I'm making such a fuzz about it though
