Man. Nothing like the single-minded determination of children. She's going to save that boy, no matter what. And of course, we see the compassion and gentleness that is so much a part of her. Lovely.

I would think Surma's advice would have been something along the lines of:
"No matter how scary things may get, remember that you are trying to help someone, and that certain someone may be even more scared than you."
or
"I will always be in your heart."
Who knows? Who cares? Tom has consistently provided dialogue that surpasses my expectations of good and imaginative writing.
