I bet no one outside of the room can actually hear all thats going on.
I wonder what our guides are doing while they wait?
I feel like playing ghostbuster music.

I find it really amusing that the kid isn't thinking of his own safety. Why is that?

well he is thinking of his own safety. His mommy and daddy are gonna unleash an asswoping on him for the mess he's caused.
Ofcourse realising what it actually is and what its gonna do, would lead to questions about his current state. And thats a big self dillusional [dellusional?] no-no.

It's interesting that the lad is worried about what his parents will think. Does he know they're dead?

It's interesting that the lad is worried about what his parents will think. Does he know they're dead? Probably not, since he's unaware he is himself dead. It's beginning to look like the whole family passed on rather suddenly, and about the same time, or you'd think he might have noticed. (Finding Dad's, Mum's and Sis' bodies, calling the cops, making funeral arrangements, that sort of thing...) Or, we're talking ressurected zombie parents who've been watching Supernanny. Which wouldn't surprise me the way this story's going

Mallt and Moddey said that his family was killed in an accident (or at least, fatally injured in it, and brought to the hospital afterwards, where they died). The ghost-boy must have either died at the same time as the other members of his family - or if he outlived them for a while, was not informed of their deaths before his own death.

From [342]: "There were a most disfortunate accident. His family was taken right away but the boy was brought here to Good 'ope." Sounds like the family passed on quickly, before they could be hospitalized. No mention of the length of time between their passing and the boy's.

He doesn't seem aware of his parents' deaths. I expect he was in a coma for the time he's been hospitalised, since I suppose a conscious kid would ask for his parents, right?

Sounds like the family passed on quickly, before they could be hospitalized. No mention of the length of time between their passing and the boy's. Thanks; I'd forgotten the details of that panel. Sorry I haven't said as much lately; I haven't been able to think of any comments on the last few pages that aren't either stating the obvious or else repeating what somebody else just said. Maybe later that'll change. At the moment, I haven't even dared speculate much about the direction that the story will go, simply because of the unexpected turns. (I *had* wondered whether the lizard-thing was to be important in the story, or if it was going to be just there for a page or two to illustrate that the ghost-boy liked creepy things and then discarded from the chapter after it bit the ghost-boy - just a brief character-moment, in other words. Now I know that it is indeed important to the chapter - but that's all I'm willing to say.)
