So the court can create new bodies from dna sequences. They can even make a human body from the dna of other species. And death can induce a seamless transfer of consciousness from the old body to the next. What happens when a rabbit with brain damage transfers to a human without brain damage? Can they achieve immortality with this?

I'm really going to enjoy this part too
if I was Ann I'd go for the Co2 euthanasia. Let the rabbit run down the role one last time.

The Shocking Truth about Coyote Once long ago, Wile E. Coyote was trying to eat a rabbit named Bugs Bunny, but the rascally rabbit kept getting away. But then Coyote discovered a way to trick the rabbit to *want* to be eaten. Suddenly Coyote always with a full meal of rabbit, road runner, pigeon or other delicious prey. Coyote grew more powerful as each time he stole some of the magic essence of his food and added it to his own. And thus Coyote lives happily ever after. PS: Coyote is a "big admirer" of humans because convincing his prey to want to be human keeps Coyote well fed. That is ...shocking! And him a God and all, too! (Let us prey.) Jacko's unnerving silence was used to great effect in 'Tall Tales'. The conversation could be interpreted as Green Fairy being a lapicide who was totally off with the pixies. That is, until the very last panel. So, yes, I think the next few pages will be about Jack non-verbally persuading Annie it's OK to get in touch with her inner 'CHOMP!' And then the beautiful illuminations of the last few pages will collapse into the small, flat, monochromatic world of the Court. (as an allegory for how Tom balances his artistic output with the time available.)

I've been calling her (soon to be him) 'Jack', but 'Abe' is another possibility: the green fairy friend then being 'Cynthia'.

I know she hasn't been an Ysengrin-like medium, and not to be too cold, but a part of me is hoping she'll cavalierly snap his neck. She may see it, as both a way to end Coyote's "nature appropriate" fun, and a practical way to move forward. Previously, Muut had said, she shouldn't waste an ant's life to contact him. But, psychopomps may not be against killing itself, just its wasteful use. Plus, I'd bet Coyote's response would be hilarious.

I really like Annie's last expression. I don't know why. It reminds me of something. I don't know what. Like the expression looks REALLY familiar. That's going to bother me for a long time.

Lots of people seem to think this involves physically killing the rabbit. That was Ysengin's method, but my guess is that this was not necessary to the process. What we are looking at is really just an extension of the body swapping ability that Coyote has, and which he gave to Reynard (even if that ended up being imperfect). Except here he doesn't bestow the ability to swap bodies, he just does it for them.

Annie not impressed with Coyote's response to how to create a new body: "Bang two rocks together and you'll birth a spark." Or, in Annie's case, transfer a spark (not the most tactful expression in this case. Not that Coyote has ever cared about tact.)

Once a human, she can eat her own body. Weird, huh. It would be kinda cool if she did that. If I ever become a forest creature, I'll be a carnivore and eat my own body. (then I'll develop a taste for human flesh.) If I 'see an opportunity' after her human form is revealed, I will expose her cannibalistic tendencies :3
