So the Tic-Tocs are probably going to be the last page of this, right?

So the Tic-Tocs are probably going to be the last page of this, right? City Face does not deal in electrical appliances.

Who's the toughest to come? Eagle? Swan? Ostrich? I'd go with ostrich. Years ago, I had a friend with exotic pets. One day, he needed help moving an emu to a new pen. Terrible hijinks ensued. So big, so mean, so Jurassic Park-like. Not exactly on ostrich, but I wouldn't want to tangle with either. You called it !

Dumb luck has brought me cookies, though I would have preferred it brung a tranq gun, the day an emu gave me a black eye and bruised derriere. Very tough and mean. Beware, City Face. I wonder if we'll see the pelican. They're the Sarlacci of the bird world.

I say we might be seeing a Cassowary around here sometime. There's tough birds, and then there's balls-to-the-walls crazy-raging birds like the Cassowary.

cassowaries; known killers, have claws so sharp they're used as spears, look silly as hell currawongs ('australian magpies') would be a fine addition too

Ok.
Week 1 Cityface: normal UK birds Week 2 Cityface: progressively weirder and weirder...
What's up to finish us off? Griffon? Hippogriff? Pegasus? At least those have wings!

Oh you! Wouldn't it be funny if the last page for this book, or any of the remaining pages, contains an aardvark? Yep. I'm buying this book.

Now I'm betting boxbot. I know, what an awful thing to say, but I think that could be possible now.

Did you know the giraffe can fly at a top speed of 55 kilometres per hour? Wow!

Did you know that giraffe is the tallest of the birdless birds? It's true!

Such grace, such elan! I never knew a giraffe could perch so, but then again we have mostly evergreen trees where we live, so that may preclude such sights.
I envy any Northumbrian ornithologists who may have caught this on film!

Sparrow would be another obvious choice. Sparra mighty tough warrior! Killee many worm! Ah Redwall... A book series that made me very hungry while reading them. It's made me consider trying my hand at ancient food-prep strategies, like candying nuts...

Wouldn't a mallard have been more appropriate for today?
