I would have bought those film options, but they were already sold. Single tear.

Should we regroup all the side pages into one thread ?

I was about to edit my post to ask that, with a page per day this could get unwieldy.

I was about to edit my post to ask that, with a page per day this could get unwieldy. Not to mention that each individual page has very little to discuss. I vote one thread for the next two weeks

Given Tom's recent announcement, I now have an urge to write up Cityface as a Munchkin encounter card. There could be another series in this. And the Cursed Teapot has to be in there somewhere.

Moderately tough? He really doesn't like to brag. I heard he once cut a pelican, just to watch him bleed!

The books always seem to come out around the holidays. :3
Kinda bummed we won't get to see the girls during the break, but I'm sure we'll hear bits and pieces. Thanks again for the great comic, Tom!

Maybe there will be another side comic like Annie in the Forest! I think one thread is fine. If it looks like the discussion is going to get too lengthy, we could make another thread for next week's comics and leave it at that.

The Fox, Coyote and Wolf guide to Birds 1) Pigeon tasty There must be 50 ways The problem is all inside your head she said to me The answer is easy if you take it logically I'd like to help you in your struggle to be free There must be fifty ways to catch a pigeon She said it's really not my habit to intrude Furthermore, I hope my meaning won't be lost or misconstrued But I'll repeat myself at the risk of being crude There must be fifty ways to catch a pigeon Fifty ways to catch a pigeon You Just slip in the back, Jack Make a new plan, Stan You don't need to be coy, Roy Just get it for me Hop in the shed, Fred You don't need to discuss much Just drop off the food, Rude And get your pups fed www.youtube.com/watch?v=ql7nO8cgV-c

I vote "One Thread", "Aardvark", and "Change the Title of the Thread to City Face's Book of Birds", and "Oxford Commas". 100% in agreement with all things voted for in this post. Especially item 4. Moderately tough? He really doesn't like to brag. I heard he once cut a pelican, just to watch him bleed! I heard he once offed a dude just to see how it FELT. (It was, of course, in preparation for a role. He's quite the method actor, ole City Face). The books always seem to come out around the holidays. :3 Kinda bummed we won't get to see the girls during the break, but I'm sure we'll hear bits and pieces. Thanks again for the great comic, Tom! Maybe there will be another side comic like Annie in the Forest! Hasn't he said the side comic this time would be about Paz's adventures in Spain? Unless we're to expect two side comics? (Or my cold medicine-addled brain has me making things up again?)

(Or my cold medicine-addled brain has me making things up again?) He's working on multiple side comics for a collection called " Beyond the Walls", according to the Patreon, so there may be any number of side comics! But I guess with a title like that we can expect them to all take place outside the Court itself. Hm.

Unfortunately, due to some serious monetary concerns (ie: I lack money) I have trouble justifying Patreon-related things at the moment. But yeah, with a name like that, I wouldn't expect to see Kat and Annie's summer break inside the Court in that book.

The Fox, Coyote and Wolf guide to Birds 1) Pigeon tasty Preferably followed by Kat telling those canids "Spit it out! Spit it out! Spit it out!" with a tone of "Or else!" - and they hurriedly do just that, with the pigeon, fortunately, suffering no greater hamr than drool over its feathers and some loss of dignity.

I can see Tom coming back with the following one pager... Kat: "Well that Summer break was super exciting and also awesome!" Annie: "Yes, we seemed to have solved most of the Court mysteries we encountered in the last three years." Kat: "Yeah, and that thing with your Dad was completely unexpected." Annie: "Now we each have an entire school-year worth of detentions." Kat: "That we have to serve separately, as in alone and without Paz! Ugh, can we fast forward to year 11?" Annie: "Yes, let us..." End of Chapter / End of Year / Begin Next Holiday Break

I think City Face *may* have been a stunt double for one of the eagles in 'Battle of Five Armies'. (and may have had something to do with Rey auditioning for the role of Azog's warg.)

Boy, Magpies are just the darndest little early morning noisemakers, aren't they?
The raucous monsters.

Magpies tried for the role of the thrush in the Hobbit, but kept squabbling over who got the snail.

For me, that imageshack link only ran a video advert for imageshack "re-polished" (and it's horribly script-heavy) - is there a imgur link available?

Is someone archiving the comments?

They're not obviously "in-universe" in the same way as previously, but with there being only five, I'm pretty sure they're Tom's or otherwise irregularly screened/invited.

The crow page reminds of the time I was feeding birds in DC. I managed to get a pretty decently sized group of birds hanging around me (even using them to attack joggers) when a crow showed up and scared most of them off. Than a duck showed up to squabble with the crow, and the rest of them got scared off.
