Lookin' good.I really like the damage to the front door. Not sure if it's intentional, but Annie and Kat look like they're biting their tongues in panel 2.

I can tell why they look hesitant, I wouldn't want to end up like that door... Unless of course Red is prone to doing more damage when she's happy

Heehee! ;D The first panel is very mad scientist, she wouldn't look out of place in a Discworld novel! (Even if Tom hasn't read the books)

Meh. I do believe that Kat can manage something with her anti-gravity generator that would achieve the same kind of lift! Granted that it might require enormous amounts of power, but at least its safer for the environment compared to a can of mousse a day!!
Or maybe some sort of portable Van De Graaf generator, fashioned as a cute necklace!! As an added bonus, Red will be shooting tiny sparks of charge at random people she hates.

Not washing her hair for a month would probably do the trick as well I guess.

I hope that it won't take as many pages to get back to the main part of the school as it did to get to the barber's; I want to see the next confrontation between Red and Blue. (And my own suspicion is that Blue will be unimpressed and Red will - after another tantrum - have to realize that their drifting apart had nothing to do with hair.)

Wel..some minor electrocution might do the deal...I'm sure Red wouldn't mind having a little electric shock to keep her hairstyle (I'm also convinced that most likely she would lack the patience to give herself that hairstyle daily).
And in agreeing with everyone else, I don't think Blue is going to care for the new hair

Heh, reminds me of when I used to spike my hair like crazy. I realized that gelling just really took up a bunch of time in my morning routine. I'm glad that Red's finally ecstatic about something too.

<sarcasm> Oh, what could ever possibly go wrong? </sarcasm> Blue liked Red when Red had hair that sticks up. When Red didn't have sticky-uppy hair, Blue didn't like Red. You saw (http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=317) how horrible and unreasonable Blue was. Red now has hair that sticks up. All problems solved!

It's possible that Red's unhappiness with her human made her unpleasant to be around, and that's why Blue didn't want to be her friend any more. So Red blamed it on her hair, launching herself into the downward spiral of self-loathing we saw her in at the start of the chapter.
And now that she's happy about her hair again, she's liable to be much more pleasant, so she probably will win Blue back. I doubt Blue's the type to hold a grudge.

In the next page we'll learn that she actually hates Red for not having all-white eyes anymore.

It kinds sounds like she and blue have been on bad terms for a while now, and I doubt blue will suddenly be super nice to red especially after red bit her head off just a few pages back.
