Producing something like that would be extremely pricey, with little chance of profit... he'd have to charge something crazy like 50 USD if I were making an educated guess... Or maybe a limited run, one size fits all? I love the designs too, but it doesn't seem feasible.

Perhaps a DIY version would be okay, and if someone created the sewing patterns, it would be more accessible.

Sewing wouldn't really be an issue... it would probably be easier starting with a white hoodie, and carefully dipping it first in orange dye, careful to leave the chest part out of the dye. Then, once that's finished, dip the sleeves in a darker dye to the shoulder, let dry, then a darker still dye to the elbow. The symbol on the chest could be done with paint/iron-on/embroidery, depending on one's proclivities and skill. Now, how to WASH the thing and leave the white part white, I haven't the foggiest.

Then again, Denmark is an expensive country in general. Anyway, I'd gladly pay 50 dollars for those Coyote or Ysengrin hoodies.

They are that fantastic.

MS Paint hoodies are sold for $40, but they have just a small print on them. So it's probably not that $50 is crazy so much as that these would need to cost far more.

You guys misunderstand; I wasn't clear enough. Me not being willing to pay 50 dollars for a (regular) hoodie aside (but I'm a bargain hunter and hardly ever pay full price for clothing if I can help it, also on a post-college budget, so there's that)... I meant it would be a large investment for Tom, when he could be putting the money into something a bit safer like tees (which I heard via FormSpring there would be more coming out soon; excited).
While you guys might be willing, I'm not sure there would be enough people that would buy something so specialized (and sink 50 bucks into), and be worth it/let Tom turn a profit... ya get me?

So, these hoodies and whatnot are awesome, and I mean that -- but I'd love to see some more hand-drawn art on this thread! Just sayin' (I know, put up or shut up, so I'll shut up now because my artwork is an embarrassment to even Microsoft Paint.)

Hey, I've been doodling, but I'm unsure what to draw. I've been wanting to do proper Gunnerkrigg fanart for ages. If anyone who doesn't draw has an idea for fanart, I might use it.

Ysrengrin's various wooden extremities fleeing his wolf body, ablaze. Antimony standing on a boulder nearby with a very stern expression and an inferno going on all around. Bonus points for Coyote cackling uncontrollably.

If anyone else is thinking crossover, here are the series I know how to draw characters from: DBZ Doctor Who (preferable new series) Harry Potter Sherlock Batman and various DC heroes Movie Avengers One Piece Hellsing Danny Phantom

Gonna go vacuum and stuff, there better be more requests when I get back. "What if I just punched her?" "We are supposed to be HELPING." Oh mah gawd, priceless! The only other idea that floats to the top of my brain right now is some kind of smart alec comparison between HP and GC.

Gungan Parley??? I'm dying. I might do the other two as Star Wars bros. I did a proper scan of that Adventure Court/Gunnerkrigg Time thing I posted yesterday. Jombra your crossovers look good! I wish Adventure Time was on your list, you could draw Lord Coyotecorn for me. I try to stay away from things that will take up too much of my precious college time. MLP, Homestuck, and Adventure Time are all on that list, so I've avoided even starting, haha.

Thank you! I put a lot of effort into this one. Three pics is enough for now, I think. Request taking is over. The last one: there better be more requests when I get back. - Ysengrin the

Do flcl! No, do serial experiments lain! I don't usually do requests because I only have time/brainpower to do 1% of the stuff I want to do, but since the next GC Thug comic is going to take a while I needed something to do as a break from it. Also Coyote's reveal about his own non-existence moved the idea to the forefront of my mind. So here's a cross between Gunnerkrigg Court and the anime Serial Experiments: lain. Like the last GC Thug if you haven't seen the anime all the way through you won't know what the hell is going on. If that's the case then this image will only be a disturbing tableau of familiar figures to you, but there is some fanservice to make up for that. Randy Disaster takes his shirt off. Not want? I guess McBibble must take the blame for this one. [edit] Characters are Zimmy as Lain, Gamma as Arisu, and Dr. Disaster as the god of the internet. Zimmy is declining Dr. Disaster's offer to help "debug" her. And if you think this image is unpleasant you should see what happens five minutes later. [/edit]Unlike the last fancomic I actually drew this one instead of using cut/paste. And I probably should've mentioned in my self-reintroduction to this thread that I do accept criticism and answer questions, but unless it's of interest to non-artists I'd rather do it by PM. Also the answer to most will be, "That was me adding another corner so I could cut that one as well." [edit2] Woot, now there is a Lucas'd version with three fewer errors and hair highlights that are 2x more highlight-y. Old version here.[/edit2]
