Red is extremely like my little sister. Same temper, same blockheadedness.

This page is /so/ adorable.
I wonder what Kat's new haircut will look like? I like it the way it is now. >:

I just hope that Annie won't cut her hair shorter; I've liked it the length that it was during the entire run (to date) of the webcomic. Kat's hair returning to the style that it was before the summer holidays - I don't have so much problem with that.
Then again, Annie suddenly deciding to switch to a really short hair cut would most likely be an outward symptom of a major character shift, which would be unlikely to take place in a story focusing around Red's anger and frustrations. (There wouldn't be room for both.) She'll probably be there just to sit to one side and watch, keeping her friend company.
But at least we've got it confirmed now what the scissors on the title page are going to be used for.

Heh, Red's expression in the 4th panel is hilarious. (I'm new here)

Heh, Red's expression in the 4th panel is hilarious. (I'm new here) Welcome! Also, yes. It seems faeries – or Red at least – are a bit too used to their naturally occuring faery magics to actually do stuff (like hair cutting). Those hairstyles look a bit too neat for creatures living in the wild. I do however remember somewhere it was mentioned that faeries make their own clothes; didn't say how though. Here it is.Edit: Hahaha now the ad at the top of the page reads "Looking for a new haircut?"

I really love the expressions on this page.
I do prefer Kat's longer hair, but oh well. Kat must prefer shorter hair: comparing how much her hair grew over the six-week break, and how little it grew over the school year, Kat must have gotten a bunch of haircuts.

The big surprise for me was Tom's revelation today in the questions thread that Red and Blue are in the same year as Annie and Kat. I'd thought until then that they were Year Sevens (as new students, after all).

Me too, but I guess that only makes sense because they got to Gunnerkrigg so late.

Haha awesome page. Poor Red is so out of touch, but I guess that's just because she seems to have alienated the one person who could have helped her adjust. I hope getting her hair cut will change Red's attitude at least a little bit.

Am I the only one who noticed Red saying 'for propers this time' in regards to dying?
So she DID cheat the first time?

I assumed it meant that she wanted to die and stay dead.

New member, yo. The whole "She always loved my hair and now that it ain't all sticky uppy she hates me" reminds me of that episode of Scrubs were JD has to get his head shaved, but the girl he's dating only likes his hair. When someone else says "She must like more than that" he tries to think of something else, but he concludes "Man this chick really likes hair". But that post was more about Scrubs, oops
