Can you use LaTex in your signature? I tried a bit but it didn't work. Is there a trick? It's an image from an online LaTeX renderer.. Follow its URL. I wish this forum supported MathJax..

8/10 The party hat minimizes the creepiness of that terrifying serrated beak. EVERY thread in this forum is an off-topic thread given enough time. This is why there isn't an "off-topic" thread. We made one once but Tom deleted it without explanation so we've never tried again.

Jim North: good name, double entondree for erection
Picture: looks like it was drawn by a 14 year old. The icon is of a man scowling angry at his own posts, which is understandable but also unsettling. The background color sucks
Signature: Links to a Psyconauts review but doesn't give a download link, extremely disappointing
I LOVE YOU PLEASE DONT BAN ME

Avatar - I really like that avatar. Especially now that I know it is a true self-portrait, and you even posted a pic. That is really good. And it has a web-comic look to it, perfect for a web-comic forum board! Have you ever considered writing/drawing your own comic?
9/10. I certainly couldn't draw anything that good!
Personal text - Hilarious! We all feel that way sometimes. (and there are days when we have all bin junk)
10/10
Signature - I love it when people link to their personal creative endeavors. I feel like I am given a chance to get to know someone a little better, even though we could be on far corners of the world away from each other. (I don't really get the game link though...)
8.5/10

Spoilered for excessive self-promotion. Ignore at will and rate SilverbackRon's avatar/signature! That is really good. And it has a web-comic look to it, perfect for a web-comic forum board! Have you ever considered writing/drawing your own comic? Many thanks. As a matter of fact, the drawing my avatar came from was actually one I did for my first webcomic, Role of the Die. When I came up with it, I'd found a number of RPG-based comics that were about the game systems or mostly centered around the characters the people were playing, so I made RotD to be a gag-a-day strip about the gamers themselves. I would link to it, but it's currently in an internet black hole from which I am currently unable (and too lazy) to extricate it. I'm thinking about putting most if not all of the strips up on my DeviantArt at some point, tho'. Anyway, it died a rather ignominious death because even though I was about fifty strips ahead on the writing, I just couldn't keep on schedule with the drawing and eventually it just ground to a complete halt. My second webcomic was G for Genesis, which is a mish-mash of inside jokes from the Comic Genesis forums and a V for Vendetta spoof, as well as a sequel for a massive comic jam that happened on on the CG forums. I've been told by folks, however, that it's still pretty enjoyable even if you don't know the jokes. It also died of my I-don't-want-to-keep-drawing syndrome. My third webcomic was Lattice, which lasted a whopping three pages before I pretty much gave up on the whole thing. Over the past few years, however, I have been building up a fourth comic, superhero-based stuff, with the intention that I will merely be writing and someone else entirely will be drawing it. Because obviously, I just can't keep up with the drawing end of things. It'll be called Vigilante Shift, and hopefully it'll be something pretty special when I finally get all the pesky writing stuff done and out of the way so I can find me an artist. The first post on that blog may help clear things up, I would hope! Damn it! I copied the lyrics wrong! Oooooooh, they're Rammstein lyrics! In that case, I retroactively award you a third 10/10. Hat trick!

Rymdjus, your rating: Avatar: 7/10 I like birds. Personal text: 8/10 Humorous, with a touch of sarcasm. Nice! Signature: 7/10. Sticking with the theme and quoting one of our more prolific members. Good choice! Theme bonus: +1 to the rounded average. Total score: 8/10.

I had to Google this guy, and unfortunately I'm not impressed with professional men of God (random internet atheist, sorry for the bias). Still, I'm down for random history lessons due to internet people's avatars! I'm a pretty staunch atheist too actually, but I like his philosophy. *tips fedora euphorically*

I feel like it would be a crime if I bought a fedora. I'm too young and outdoorsy for that. Also, we physicists can't go around dressing like CS guys! I may have to read up on his philosophy, then, when I have time away from my other internet distractions.

Now we just need a picture of Sierra... Picture an older Peter Parker with perpetual five o'clock shadow clutching a half-empty can of Steel Reserve and you're not far off. You're going to have to use your imagination because the day I post my face online is the day I light myself on fire and sing "Climb Every Mountain".

There are some avatars which just symbolize this forum; this is one of them. I'd also add dante's old one to the list (with facepalming Rey/Sivo), but the current one is also.. fitting.

Señor Goose: Where's the text from? I feel reminded of Xavier Naidoo-lyrics. *g* Aber das liegt an mir, glaub ich. Intelligence Avatar: That somewhat generic guy looks worried about coyote lurking around in the background. I certainly would be! 7/10 Text: As long as it's not the Evil boxbotic overlord, there's nothing to fear. 5/10 Signature: Very aggressive. We seem to have another fire elemental here that's disguised as evil robotic overlord. 6/10 Edit: Congratulations.
