Annie's art is... well, I find it the most awful. Mort's is pretty cute, though.
And anyone who can get Kat's joke explain it to us ASAP.

This explanation will probably kill all the humor in the joke, but: it's a reference to the Pentium 1 FDIV bug, where floating-point division (i.e. division with numbers with a decimal point in them, basically) would give you an incorrect, though still approximately close, answer for some inputs. The joke then is that successive both means in order and that it sounds close to succeed (where it's really a failure).

I see....Well, Annie's art looks....very unique. Kat's art looks like my 9-year old brother's drawing, and Mort's art looks much better...but this may be due to him having already experience life and learning how to draw good and stuff...

Well, that's the end of the summer holiday strips. It'll be great to get back to the story next week.
I thought it a pity that we didn't find out as much about what Annie was doing over that period as what Kat was doing, but maybe that's the point.

I didn't really enjoy Kat's joke because floating point operations are approximations by definition.

That's awesome. I love Annie's art. Is something wrong with me?

Why did the chicken cross the road?
To get to the other side.

I actually thought that Carver would have been able to draw well. It just seems like something a kid would do a lot if they spent all their time in a hospital.
Mort, on the other hand, is surprisingly good.

Don't worry, Mr. Radar, your explanation did not kill the humor....
I still don't get it.

Bad jokes, or deep commentary on the state of the world? Mort's beautiful artistry and philosophical phrasing touches me in ways I never thought possible.
Marque, way to go with the LFG avatar.
