Neat to get the photos. I wonder if that's Loch Ness that Kat's standing in front of in the upper photo - but that would probably be a little much.

That is adorable and heartwarming beyond words. I love the pictures, and I love Kat.
Am I the only one who got reminded of Noodle by the second picture?

If Kat does get a tan in Italy, it'll make her all the more a contrast to Annie. (Annie's not likely to get that much sun at Gunnerkrigg, and redheads don't tan anyway. They do get freckles, but I somehow can't picture Annie having freckles.)

Noodle is a member of the Gorillaz. Tom has cited Jamie Hewlett as an artistic influence, so the resemblance makes sense.
