I've had confidence issues for years, and I don't know about Tom, but it sucks when your work is genuinely awesome and all you get is criticism. (Come to think of it, how could Tom possibly have confidence issues with how great of an artist and writer he is, really?) More easily than one would suspect. Some of the best can be the hardest on themselves. |

I think after 1000+ panels of well-deserved compliments, the primary customers/donators/fans should be within their rights to poke a little fun at one panel that came out a wee bit wonky. Plus, I doubt Tom has a confidence problem since one of his hobbies has turned into a full-time job and a living wage. |

...Though he did get evicted from his apartment recently. Hopefully he gets a new one...and the comics don't get really dark in a couple of months.

Also, anybody else think the attacking monster looks vaguely like a Yeti? I think it's the hairy forearms that suggest that. That's actually the first thing I thought of, although I didn't connect the name at the time. |

Also, the middle panel would make the best wallpaper if it was in higher res. The more I come back to this page, the more I want wallpaper. If my Blender skills weren't so rusty, I'd try modeling it. |
