eRGH... this is a fair sign I need to hurry it up with my re reading. I see how Jones maybe doesn't like Coyote much when he got Annie to stay at the forest over break. I dunno if Jones likes or dislikes. Maybe the choices she makes are imitations. But I added some links to my previous post if you need a starting point for that encounter. Yeah... I guess she doesn't feel much. Much that she notices... or anyone, really.

Jones is like the Chinese Room of emotions. At what point does faking affection for a person become indistinguishable from really having affection?

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I see how Jones maybe doesn't like Coyote much when he got Annie to stay at the forest over break. Well, I don't like Jones much either: no sense of humor! Also, not being vulnerable to physical or emotional damage makes it so boring to interact with her: she's the only person in the place I can't mess with! Which, I guess, is the reason they keep her around.

Which, I guess, is the reason they keep her around. That, and her baby-sitting experience. Obviously. Though I guess she would be very handy to have around if the hostility between the Court and Forest ever escalates to open warfare.

Maybe? She seems more attached to the Court than the Forest, but perhaps not enough to get actively involved.

Well, they treated Annie ok when she was there. And Jones is further from human than Annie.

If the situation arises, WOULD she side with the Court? Maybe not. I don't think she cares much for warfare. But I bet she would try to save lifes, especially the children.
