Gunnerkrigg Court Original Soundtrack ProjectSince the GKCFP seems to be dead at large, I thought I'd at least gauge interest in something more manageable like the creation of a GKC OST. I know we have some talented composers and sound artists amongst us, and I think it isn't a stretch for us at all to put something together. I know there are some original pieces of music that have already been created and posted in this thread. I'd be interested in piecing together those works, as well as seeing new ones created. At the very least, I could see this as a neat project that we do for fun. At the very most, I could see this as a project that, with Tom's blessing, would end up being sold for real moneys with the profits being split between the album's contributors and the man who made it all possible in the first place. So... thotz?

Sounds pretty cool to me. You're right, there are a ton of talented people lurking around here.
Can't wait to see what they come up with.

Hey, I'm new here - just found out about the project - I'm willing to devote freetime to write music. Here's a sample of my work. Please let me know if I can be of service!

What program and sampling packs did you use for sound editing?

What program and sampling packs did you use for sound editing? GarageBand on the Mac... Yeah... I know it's pretty crappy software - I've never written music professionally, only as a hobby, so I haven't invested in any proper editing software.

Here's a page that shows you some of the better programs to use, in case you're interested. I like your tracks. Very well synched with the visuals, which is the key.

Oh right, this is still a thing (sort of). I'm itching for a chance to try out FL Studio's onboard video player. It syncs the video up with the audio to make scoring easier.

htown, I'm loving what you've done! I think there could've been a few more sound effects, such as a stark scorching when she finally loses it on the bridge and "spikes", but I really like what you have going.

I'm about a month into my first full-time job after college, so I've been a bit absent. But I'm still totally behind this project, and have themes for the Headmaster, Diego, and Dr. Disaster.
