I don't. And after having seen today's guest strip I don't feel I've been missing much.

I read 15+ web-comics and have over 12 that I still need to read through (CURSE TELECOM NEW ZEALAND FOR ITS STRANGLEHOLD ON THE BROADBAND NETWORK) and this Afterlife seems well... errg The guest comic is funny although

I guess I should have expected, somewhere in these two weeks, a Harry Potter-spoof - especially in light of "Gunnerkrigg Court"'s own core features. Trust the result to be: Annie one, Harry nil.
(The part about Harry having been transferred from a school to the south, if it wasn't for the fact that guest-strips aren't canon, would confirm the suspicion that Gunnerkrigg's in Scotland, since Hogwarts is known to be in Scotland. Though, I don't think that this was the genuine Harry Potter - no scar, and his wand turned out to be just a stick. Not to mention that anyone who can handle Draco Malfoy on a regular basis can certainly handle Winsbury.)
Is it just me, or do Annie and Kat look a little - um - larger in front than usual? (Then again, we'll probably have to get used to that soon in the main comic, given that they'll be entering their teens by the end of the upcoming year.)
I wonder who the blonde girl was in the first panel. She might be the silent one that we've seen a couple of times (the one who was staring at Alistair in the first panel of Chapter Thirteen), or maybe she's the guest-artist's invention.
Now we know, at any rate, what these next two weeks are going to be like, and I think it'll be fun.

In that last panel, Not-Harry almost looks happy to be duct taped to the flagpole. Probably because Oh my goodness two girls just touched me!

Perhaps he wanted Janet to be his Ginny and that's why Winsbury was taping him to the pole.

Hm, it could just be a criticism of pompous Southerners As for Harry being capable of beating Winsbury: Voldemort is a rubbish villian, Winsbury is a better villian than Voldemort. Therefore, he could own Harry, Malfoy and Voldemort all in one go. EDIT: I've been reading Afterstrife since Tom did a guest strip there, though I think I ran across it before but lost/forgot the URL.

Though, I don't think that this was the genuine Harry Potter Regardless of any and all evidence to the contrary, I prefer to believe that it was the real Harry Potter. While I bear young Harry no ill will, I just think the idea of his getting pwned by Kat and Annie is absolutely priceless.

I never really gave Afterstrife a proper read, but the guest comic inspired me to read the entire archives and it's pretty good. Though I don't care much for the art style of the guest strip, Mr. Graham's art in Afterstrife is much better.
And I noticed on the About page that Mr. Graham's full first name is Alistair. Hmm...

Perhaps he wanted Janet to be his Ginny and that's why Winsbury was taping him to the pole. Annie might be a better choice for the Ginny-role - she's got the right hair color for it - but if Harry had approached her with such an offer, he'd have probably wound up duct-taped to the pole twice as quickly. Incidentally, is it just me or does Gunnerkrigg look a bit more "regular school" in this strip? (I didn't even think that it had a flagpole. Do British schools have them, or just American ones? I don't remember the primary school that I attended in England as having one.) You'd think that Winsbury should have learned by now that tormenting the new kid is *not* a good idea, after the last two new kids whom he'd tried that on. I hope that "Gunnerkrigg Court" doesn't now immediately attract the ire of overly serious Harry Potter fans who can't endure the thought of their hero being humiliated.

Right, so this was awesome. I love Annie's expression in the second to last panel. Afterstrife is definately a fun comic, good job calling in that guest strip comic.

Now that they mention it, we never see the students of GC eat. In fact I don't think I've seen anyone in GC eat.

Incidentally, I can imagine "Harry" whining, "It's no fair! I've got seven best-selling books and five big movies! All that she's got is a single webcomic site! How can they possibly let her beat me?"
