Awww. Blush-splosion!  People will still have doubts  Only ones with a bad habit of thinking, but they always have doubts - who ever pays attention? Also... Paz is way too cute for anyone with heart to plainly turn down, no matter what. Matt, for one, was unable to do so, obviously for some time. I ship, but I was sure she'd reject her, a build up leading up to a 'yes' is unheard of. Woah Tom, woah. But of course. Otherwise, some part of readers would be not teased properly. Which would be wrong.  |

Also, I just realized that I had completely forgotten about the like 3/4 of this chapter. Also, I'm amused by the fact that chapter-wise, "Catalyst" comes after "Changes." |

I almost can't believe it actually happened! Now we have to wait and see how Annie reacts because, yeah, all her friends have a "special someone" (by all I mean Parley, Andrew and Kat). Also, the Butt Zone has been advancing a theory that the whole bird theme, Kat's fling with a guy who turned into a bird, Paz keeping birds, the baby bird (city face) that she found, and the bird on her head when her, Gamma and Zimmy were by Annie's bedside, was all code for Kat's "inclinations".
I think it might be an irrelevant stylistic choice, but I thought it was fascinating none the less.

I really really really thought Kat was going to say no, so I just jumped out of my pants and maybe I screamed just now reading the page. Tom takes our doubt and tentativeness at reading any new developments as final or happy and stabs them in the face!

No idea, snipergirl. That and how long it takes to load were among the many reasons I gave up on it. Maybe it'll be better in a few years; just look how much video games have progressed. Or maybe folks will realize how much more time goes into maintaining their first lives.

You don't spend a majority of your life talking to the dying and their guides, making friends with forest critters, trying to fight scary ghosts, and hanging out with loopy fairies without coming out a pretty open minded person. Plus, Kat is her main babe and nobody disses their main babe for finding themselves a date..babe. |
