What she's trying to say is "but I'm not gay/like that/whatever" but she stops and says "huh!" when Paz says "thinking and worrying, over and over". Expanding on what I said, I think by saying that she's convinced Kat at the very least to think about it

First thought she'd run, not so sure anymore after thinking about it Hard to say with her lack of expression in the middle row, but Paz may have gotten her to rethink. Also love how the middle row wasn't copy-pasted, but each panel redrawn even if they're mostly identical. November: Good Lord, make it go away! That's gonna haunt my nightmares tonight |

I don't think what Paz said has clicked in Kat's head yet. I'm hoping she'll at least be able to give her an answer (though knowing Kat's awkwardness about this situation, her running off is pretty likely)

So...
Yep, the build up suggests nothing but rejection, but the heart on the Treatise suggests they get together later on. Or.. She and Annie will become an item/Kat falls in love with Annie/Annie falls in love with Kat, but that seems unlikely.
Anyways, this is a katastrophe. Get it? Catastrophe but it spelled with a k because it then contains Kats name within the word, because she's gonna cause the source of drama/entertainment and thus its fu- never mind...

I suspect that Kat, as an advanced roboticist, could answer this particular choice of metaphors using gestures with large and clicky wire strippers. I was thinking more of Annie becoming really confused and start to regress back to who she was before she met Kat. Its like Murphy's law but with "drama" No, it's "Status Quo is God", aka "We would have character development if we could do with them something more creative than running gags". Which is why it's unlikely. Also, three words: mad fairy uprising. |
