Agreed. I think Annie in the second to last panel looks the most beautiful I've ever seen Tom draw her. Nice scenes like this always give me the warm fuzzies inside too ^_^

Trust Kat to try a little match-making between Annie and Mort. (I doubt that it'll succeed, though; knowing Annie, she'll most likely merely continue to look upon him as a friend.)
Annie seems to be addressing the readers rather than Kat in the last panel.
No antimony symbol on this page, so there's still one more page in this chapter (not counting the Bonus Page) to go. Since it's hard to think of where else this conversation could go, I suspect that the last page will be about Eglamore escorting Coyote and Ysengrin back to the forest.

i wonder if the next teo chapters will be anne and kats seperately; or if he'll show parts of each storyline in one chapter and link them together somehow.

I doubt that Kat will have a separate Annie-less chapter, since Annie is the viewpoint character for the webcomic (even Chapter Thirteen still told the story through Annie's eyes, though it was focused around Kat and Aly). We don't even know whether Tom's going to go into detail over what happens during the summer, or if he'll "flash-forward" to the beginning of the next school year. |

We don't know the limits of Mort's shape-shifting abilities; he can make himself look like a snake, a mouse, a demon, or even a tombstone - but we don't know if he can take on human form. In light of his characterization, I doubt that he'd try looking "hunky" anyway; he seems a little too shy for that. And maybe he can tell that Annie's not that impressed with such things, also. |

Part of the problem, I think, is that since there's no tone of voice to accompany written words, it isn't always easy to convey the fact that a written statement is a joke. (Of course, some of the comments from the readers about the absence of monster trucks and electric guitars were probably also intended as jokes.) |

I would say most of the coments - or even all of them. (then again -I have a tendency to assume that people are joking, when they actually are serious but just a bit slow, weird or something else that could cause them to say something that I could mistake for a joke) |

If I remember correctly, Tom's coment to this page originally was "Next chapter: monster trucks and rockin' 'lectrick guitars", but apparently he has now changed that one. |

He mentioned in one of the comments accompanying the comics including Monster Trucks and Electric Guitars in the near future. You have to placate us, Tom! We want Monster Trucks and Electric Guitars!
