I've noticed nothing has been developing recently with this project. The last post in this section was nearly two months ago.
My team questions the logic in organizing an audio book effort for a comic.

it is almost entirely dead good sir, maybe with enough posts flowing to the top of the new posts section containing relevant content it may be revived.
Your team can do what the hell they want, this is a fanproject after-all and was never intended to be professional.
It was intended to be less an audiobook (Graphic media isn't known to be easy or wise to adapt into audiobook format) and more a read-along (also known as a motion comic if folks wanna be fancy about it.)
A good example of what we mean (but have considerably less resources to do) is HomestuckCollab on youtube.

I'm still here and still willing to help. The first chapter took two years - I think it's still early to say it's dead.
Just...hibernating.

I'm still here, even though someone else would probably cover music if I didn't. The problem looks like just a lack of organization. There's no real "we have this, we still need this". That and people have just drifted off and stopped checking in, but new activity might draw them back.

I've noticed nothing has been developing recently with this project. The last post in this section was nearly two months ago. Sounds like an accurate assessment. These things happen. At least it's there if someone wants to pick it up again. There's not really any "project lead" so a single person could conceivably just copy and paste the old stuff together and keep filling it out themselves. As long as you don't mind them all sounding the same like when they have an old guy narrating Harry Potter on tape, female lines and all. My team questions the logic in organizing an audio book effort for a comic. And who might "your team" be, Mr. Gentleman?

I joined many years ago in order to have something to do with this project, but found it dead, unfortunately.
Upon seeing new activity I had to make a new account in order to interject that I am happy to offer my services in any way that I can, whether they be organizational or voice acting.

I wonder if it would make sense to make a checklist of things we have left to do for chapter two? I think it would help people to keep track of what's happening and who has what. For example, I think all the voice acting lines are done and someone was in the process of compiling them when their computer crashed and the project stalled out again. I don't know about visuals or music.

If we want to get this thing going, organization is key. Does anyone know where the voice files and music bits are? Nothing's stopping us from pulling everything up again, or at the very least, rerecording everything. If we had to, the seven of us who posted (plus the hundred-plus who still check the GKCFP page - I know you're there) could cobble together something.
The problem with the checklist idea is that the people who were in charge of the project disappeared, and we don't know what we're missing or where whatever we have is. If you were one of them, please post something on this thread so we have a better idea of what's going on. (It's okay if you're too busy to contribute anymore. Any information that can help us is welcome.)
I'm totally in with the project. I compose music, and I'd be willing to do voice-acting. (Warning: Actual British Accent.)

I believe Zolen and Ulysses currently have the voice files. I'm not sure who has the music or visuals, but I think at this point everything is recorded (correct me if I'm wrong) and we just need to get an editor to put all of them together. And then maybe we can get something more organized for chapter three (fingers crossed!).

I guess you could contact them, but neither of them has logged on in over six months (not that necessarily means anything). If you could focus on contacting them, Starrylight, as well as however many voice actors you can find, we'd probably be set. If necessary, like eskhn said, we could cover music, or recycle from the previous chapter, or even write our own. And there are all sorts of stock SFX floating around.
IF ANYONE CAN EDIT WE NEEEEEED YOUUUUUUU!!!!!

Apparently Chapter 1 is already compiled.

I'm still willing to help voice act if I can- I think I uploaded a Coyote audition a little while back and I was thinking about trying a different one, but I guess it depends on what the status of the whole project is.

Same here for Kat (I've also apparently acquired a more Scottish sounding accent - please don't ask how - so that might please those who were complaining about the lack of Scottish!Kat).

I'm still in for Rey/William in chapter 3. I think Ihave, somewhere, my recordings for chapter 2. If not, it's about 5 minutes to record a new one.

I'd just like to chime in and mention that I do know how to edit YouTube videos; I do it for the main fandom I voice act for, if that was the route this project was going to go.
I've also acquired a microphone that's much superior to the one I recorded my original Coyote audition on, so if this project is still going, I can send another, improved, audition and get your opinions on it.

*nudges this thread* Part-time voice actor here, definitely willing to lend a hand for parts. Female, fairly young sounding voice, Eng. accent.

I only recently discovered Gunnerkrigg, however was hooked within few pages. Whilst reading, the possibility of audio adaptation did occur to me, as it is a field I already dabble in.
I work in radio and theatre as a producer and sound engineer, in an amateur capacity, but to a reasonable standard. As such, I am capable in terms of editing with Pro Tools, though currently prefer Audacity.
I already have a few projects on my plate for now, so would be hesitant to become involved without knowing exactly where this project sits. As such, I'll keep an eye on this but wait till I know more before making any commitments~
Who from the original production team remain?

Oh my goodness - those are amazing. I have no idea if its the work on this fan project, though! ... From what I've gathered, I'd have to guess not, because it has been said several times that "chapter one took 2 years" so id assume that we only have chapter one done, but these videos go all the way to 4... In the event that it is not our work, I'd advise a team-up!
