Okay, I want to say that I really have been enjoying this latest chapter so far. It's been quite interesting since this big meeting began, and every page just has me more sucked in, and eager to see what the next update brings. A big "You rule!" goes to Tom for making it so awesome. Anyway... in recent months I've been involved in a few recording projects related to a couple of comics I've been reading, Specifically Jack, and DMFA. It's been a lot of fun, and It occurred to me that there's no reason we couldn't do something similar. With that in mind, I'd like to know if anyone here has any interest in getting involved. I'll need a lot of voice help, as I can hardly do the cast by myself. =P Some assistance from anyone with good-quality audio software would also be appreciated. That's all for now. Anyone who wants in on this feel free to speak up. |

Of course. That's the fun part. We get a few people involved who each record one or more character's dialog, add sound effects, and enjoy the end result. It's quite a lot of fun, really.

I would do this, heck, I'd provide as much help as I can. I Djed profesisonally for a few years so I can certainly help you mix or donatem y voice... I dont think it would go well for aynone, though.

It could be pretty cool, and I'd be interested in participating. Are we worried about accents, though? 'Cuz unless we had some very good actors in the bunch, or some very good coaching, or we happened to have a lot of parts that could be matched up to people who already had the appropriate accent for the character, then we'll just have to accept that maybe Janet is going to sound like she's from Texas...or something.

I don't see a problem with this. To be honest, all I could ask for is that we have enough participants to fill all of the needed roles without putting too much work on an individual person. This isn't exactly the most popular webcomic forum I've been to so I'm kind of skeptical that we could possibly get enough roles. If anyone has an interest, though, please feel free to record a few lines (Doesn't matter if they're from the current arc or from another part of the story) and send me a PM sometime. |
