ok, i'm not sure if this has come up before (and i don't think it needs a whole thread but i couldn't figure out where to put it) but does anyone know what that totem guy is? it always makes me pause when i'm re-reading because it seems so random for a coverpage. does it show up anywhere else in the comic? does anyone know anything about it? also, it reminds me a little bit of the forest symbolok, answering one of my own questions: page 163 panel 3 anyway, maybe it's nothing. i was just curious

Well, I'm guessing that it might have a certain significance later in the story...either that, or Tom just decided to take that totem because he had no idea what to put there in the first place.
But I'm just speculating here...

Actuallt guys, it has a striking resemblance to a maori tiki carving from New Zealand. Although I doubt it is one.

It shows up in Eglamore's office in the same chapter. Not sure about significance.

Yeah, might just be used because it re-appears in that chapter.
