Vol. 2 seems to be in stock at the Archaia store (http://store.archaia.com/products/Gunnerkrigg-Court-Vol.-2%3A-Research.html).
I put my order in a few days ago but it's still "Awaiting fulfillment", so I'm not quite sure on whether they actually have it in stock just yet. At least the "Not available" text has gone away..

Speaking of which, is there going to be another print run before the next book comes out, or should I start scouring the net for places still in stock? I'd like to pick up all three from Amazon in one fell swoop because I'm that kind of person, but V.2 seems to be in chronically short supply.

Happily I got my order fulfilled from some early samples. The vol2 product page now states "Expected release date is 27th Jun 2012", so it seems that mass availability of vol2 is about two weeks away.

By the way, in the best tradition of this forum of trying to outguess what Tom has in store for us, I propose to try and predict the t-shirts.

I'm guessin' on more symbol-related shirts. Alchemical symbol for antimony or bismuth. The "blocked eye" symbol used against Reynardine. Maybe even a stylized GC logo. Although I could probably get them elsewhere, I also wouldn't mind rocking one of Kat's multiple electronic-music-related shirts. There was also one that said "Afx237 v7" but I can't seem to find the strip it comes from.

At last! Having the incongruous numbers 1 and 3 on my shelf was starting to cause me serious mental strain.

Hooray! I already have the set, but I'm glad for everyone else who has been waiting for Volume 2. And I really want to see those new shirt designs! Tom has been hinting at them for awhile now.
(For you lurkers, Tom sees money from the copies that sell in Topatoco, but not from Archadia; just FYI)

Whaaaat, I wanted a forest symbol, too. D: He must be holding out on doing that design on a shirt for some reason... I feel like there's been ample demand.
I think I'll just get the old court shirt.

We need the Forest Symbol shirt, Tom. We NEED it. And more shirts. And prints. And mugs. And stuff. Give 'em to us.
Help us spreading the word about the comic. Help us giving you our monies, Tom. Do it.

Oh excellent, this is really wonderful. If they are still in stock then, then maybe this could be a Christmas gift for somebody?

Anybody know if there is going to be a softcover V.2? All I can find ATM is hardcover.

I like that it's the top seller on Archaia right now. But I see that one reviewer says it's a different size from the other two... does anyone have details on this?

The only information I can give you is that mine (which I purchased years ago) is the same size.
I wonder why they would make the reprint a different size...

I'm still waiting for them to show up at Topatoco Risking to fail to purchase a last chance t-shirt because I want to bundle.

Sorry if I'm putting the cart before the horse, and also if this has been addressed elsewhere, but any news/rumors/speculation re: Vol. 4?

Sorry if I'm putting the cart before the horse, and also if this has been addressed elsewhere, but any news/rumors/speculation re: Vol. 4? If the previous ones were any judge, it will be a long time coming. Considering we are still waiting for a reliable source of V.2, to say nothing of softcover (ahem), I'd say not to hold your breath. There's not really a whole lot Tom can do. Archaia likes to move at its own pace, which oftentimes approaches glacial.

Was Vol. 2 actually available on Archaia? It shows as out of stock. Was there an actual second printing?
There's a nice fancy leather bound version of Vol. 1 available, though.
(I already have Vol. 2 myself but I'm involved in a small comics retail business and we've been waiting for quite a while to get Vol. 2 back in stock.)

Say guys, do you have any idea if the reprint of Vol. 2 will ever appear in the amazon-store? Buying from Topatoco is not an option for me, sadly...

Can anyone POSSIBLY explain WHY VOLUME TWO IS ALWAYS OUT OF PRINT? That makes as much sense as a PLEASANT DAY IN THE 41ST MILLENNIUM.

Also, no one has ANSWERED THE QUESTION.Right, sorry. The answer is that its not Harry Potter so there is not a reprint every time it goes out of stock. Reprints cost a good deal of money, and its a bit of a gamble, so someone like Tom who is made of spiders and not money will have to carefully gauge when to order it. Can anyone POSSIBLY explain WHY VOLUME TWO IS ALWAYS OUT OF PRINT? That makes as much sense as a PLEASANT DAY IN THE 41ST MILLENNIUM.I think this one might take his job a little too seriously. Just replace "Daemonic Hordes" with "Rebel Alliance" and he has your job already.

"Made of Spiders" should be a song on the GC soundtrack we are totally gonna make.
