I have no idea whether this is a reference to the promised monster trucks which are so far not present in the current chapter, but something tells me they are related :O #179 hereof. Yes, I'm implicitly calling GC a masterpiece. You got a problem with that, punk? |

Well, the first four letters of the word "hereof" contain a link to a particular set of comics by a Mr. Nedroid. In Gunnerkrigg court's comments are complaints about the lack of electric guitars, somthing that I can't remember, and monster trucks. #179 of Mr. Nedroid's comic seems to be about an artist forgetting to put monster trucks in his comics. I immediately thought of Gunnerkrigg Court upon reading that, and was obliged to post. Happy now? ;-D |

Haha! I was wondering when the comments about the lack of monster trucks (and rockin' 'lectrical guitars) would start up. Now they would be a pretty creative incorporation...

Arrg, I hope this comes out right... www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=258Under this page, Tom joked that the next chapter would have trucks + guitars because the "Kat" chapter was kind-of 'girly', but didn't really mean that he was going to put them in. (That's where the "Where are the trucks+guitars?" comments are from). In the Nedroid comic, I think he was just making a joke about how the person was making a painting with many 'awesome' things (ninja-on-skateboard, unicorn, robot, etc.), but had forgotten monster trucks. So I don't think it's a reference, just a coincidence. Although... perhaps Tom will slip monster trucks and electric guitars in somehow! Oh if dreams could come truuuuueeeee..... P.S.: I agree with the masterpiece implication  |
