Letting all the stress out through her hair or something?
Come on Tom, where's the third story?

I like the "a little melodramatic" comment. Jack really isn't cutting Annie a break at all.

Get a haircut, Annie.
Nah, I'm kidding. She is really beautifully drawn today, especially the profile. Top marks, Tom.

And around the world, millions of shippers squee'd.
While this chapter is full of mood whiplash, I'm definitely enjoying it. And I've gotta say I really like how this page is drawn. Annie pulls off the disheveled hair look well.

Now that the drama is mostly over, we turn to the mystery of the missing blinker stone....
Although it's not like Jack can actually steal it as Annie would just teleport it right out of his hands if he tried to.

Tom's comment today is rather appropriate.

Count "Squee!" for me.
But careful, Jack: She's a tricksy wight. Plus, girl. Can't trust 'em.

Ah, Annie's looking quite nice with her hair back to the good ole look. Jack is just too slick, man. I love this exchange.

They both look a little odd in profile, especially Jack. Good to see the good ship AnnieJack is still afloat. Also I stand by my prediction that Annie has given, not lent, her blinker stone to Jack.

JACK: But if you really want to make it up to me, maybe you could use some of this black hair dye? I also happen to have these neat contact lenses that you should try out...

I wonder if she'll fix her hair before they rejoin the main group. If not, then there will be some fun rumors to go round.

Not gonna lie, she looks better with her hair down.
Seriously though, this page nearly made me aww. Good to know there wont be any hard feelings between them.

Wait...in the background...do I hear...Percussion? Strings? Winds? Words?Oh, no, wait, of course not, what am I thinking? Jack doesn't need no mudbug to tell him how to put the moves on. === Also I stand by my prediction that Annie has given, not lent, her blinker stone to Jack. Concur, except I think the stone links them whether she intended it to or not. The feelings were there, and the stone amplifies them.

Is this the point at which they stick their tongues in each others' mouths? Because in movies that lets you know that they like each other.

Sorry to be a spoilsport, but Annie only lent the Blinker to Jack. Tom said so.

Looking better than ever, Carver.
I've really enjoyed this chapter. Despite a lot of people being unhappy with all of the "melodramatic (to use the word again) teenage crap", I think it really rounds out a lot of the characters, and makes Annie (among others) a little more realistic and relatable.

I don't know why people think Annie gave the stone as a romantic symbol to Jack. That's what she raged against Mort for doing to her without a claim.

Despite a lot of people being unhappy with all of the "melodramatic (to use the word again) teenage crap", Really? But the characters are teenagers. It makes sense for them to act like ones.

P.S.: Does Annie on 6 panel try on Jack puppet eyes?)))

OK, last panel is over-cute. Aye. Which alone would make me curious as to what follows. But this smile... it looks like she's up to something funny, and even if not yet, she's about to. Letting all the stress out through her hair or something? She can unwind just by unbinding her hair. Lucky girl. Jack really isn't cutting Annie a break at all. He's right, you know... Now they're just screwing with each other. I'd say she dropped the old game as unfunny and may be slipping into something like a dance - no completely misleading movements, only more showy ways to go about simple matters. But what Jack really does... "remains to be seen"(c). On the other hand, Annie herself can be over the top at holding grudges, so she could as well mean it. Does Annie on 6 panel try on Jack puppet eyes?))) Haha, aye. ;D From #4, though.

She pulled out the puppy-dog eyes. That's not fair, Carver. That's just not fair. I wonder if she'll fix her hair before they rejoin the main group. If not, then there will be some fun rumors to go round. I just wonder if someone's going to walk in next page and misinterpret how it looks.
