I was reading today's page, and wondering where I had heard the name William Winsbury before, and then it hit me, William and Janet are from a folk song, but instead of Janet being the daughter of the lord, she is the daughter of the headmaster. You can see the lyrics of the song here : sniff.numachi.com/pages/tiWILLIWIN;ttWILLIWIN.htmlHas anyone noticed this before?

Oh hey, that was my question, before I realized that was a traditional song. Here's Anne Brigg's cover: More generally, Tom has mentioned his love of English folk artists like Anne Briggs and Kate Rusby. Sir Eglamore and Annan Waters both take their name from Rusby songs.

Funnily enough, Kate Rusby also has a song titled "Annan Waters". I guess Tom's a Rusby fan as well as a Prodigy fan. Quite a spread.
