They really do! A store room for everything! ;D cU rSED Instruments. Yeah right. What worries me though is the fact that the room is brimming full of them!

Obviously, he should have looked for the door labelled "(No) Spare Instrument Parts"

A musical instrument that judges your singing voice. That's horrible.

"Hanging out, making music and stuff." Suuuuure you were, guys. Can't believe I didn't catch the cUrSED gag until it was pointed out to me ITT. I was all, "Man, what is up with that sign?" Gaaah! Is this also the first mention we have of John and Margo being an "official item"? Wonder what the mandolin does. Will Mort be involved? Stay tuned.

Is it bad that I came here because I was too lazy to puzzle out the gag on the door, and I knew someone would have posted it already? Heh.
Can't wait to see where this goes. C:

"somethjing"
And the all-white bubbles do make things a little confusing.

"somethjing" And the all-white bubbles do make things a little confusing. Heh, I saw the thing in Tom's twitter feed about the typo, and I still couldn't find it in the strip until you mentioned it! Agreed about the all-white bubbles. Not a fan. I have no idea now who made the joke about John knowing how to show a girl a good time. The "Cursed Instruments" gag is genius. I thought to myself "hmm, those spaces are odd" and realised there were marks of other letters that had once been there, leaned in to see the marks, and oh how I laughed!

cU rSED Instruments. Yeah right. What worries me though is the fact that the room is brimming full of them! I love GC! Ahaha! It's great! And the door labels as always funny and gorgeous! I love what Tom is doing with this chapter. It's brilliant. I think we all love this) Ooooo, look. Another 113, on the side of the box. There it is?! I can't see it(

Music and stuff. They really do! A store room for everything! Strange that this room wasn't locked, as so many others are. With the prejudiced way that the Court views all things atheric, you can bet they call every atheric instrument cursed regardless.

And the all-white bubbles do make things a little confusing. So which characters ought to have non-white bubbles? How many colours are available? We should have a page on the wiki for this, or do we already?

John's ~special Queslett ability~ is most certainly playing strings, but is Margo's singing? I remember that original John/Margo page with the extra doodles implied it was drawing and art to me, but perhaps it's just the arts in general. Hm.

Woah, woah, woah, woah. Woah.
Everyone, you're missing the most important and major revelation here. Margo sings?!
Also, is there any significance to the number '113' (or possibly J13) - on the far-bottom corner of the box there? Or am I just seeing things where there aren't things?

And then the mandolin possessed John and asked Margo out.

The number 113 is a trademark of Tom. You can find it all over the comic on dozens of pages. There have been several long discussions about it but to my knowledge it is unknown whether there is any special significance to it.

I like what Tom's doing with this chapter - showing some adventures that other people have had, that is. I mean, Annie and Kat's classmates also attend Gunnerkrigg Court, so obviously they will have had some weird experiences as well, because it's a really strange place.

The whole storage is a bit too much for him to possess, so... he fixed the letters? Ooooo, look. Another 113, on the side of the box. Aye... John's ~special Queslett ability~ is most certainly playing strings, but is Margo's singing? I remember that original John/Margo page with the extra doodles implied it was drawing and art Well, yeah. So what - now only The True Scotsman is allowed to touch bagpipes? ;D Also, is there any significance to the number '113' [...]? There are exactly 113 CU RSED vinyl disks!

This is why I only sing in the shower.
That is, there aren't any mandolins in my shower.
