Ohhhkkay, this is like an invitation for all your bridbrain lobotomy people out there.
Cute, funny, and does nothing to progress the story. Perfect interlude, Tom!

Haha, I think Annie would have been just as mystified were it a human guy. Cute comic, it is always fun to see something light.

Know what, neal, I think you're right. Kat: Check out this totolly cute guy! Annie: That's a man way past his cutie-pie toddler stage, Kat.... (Except I can't FOR THE LIFE OF ME picture Annie saying "cutie-pie".)

Also: "Kat, I believe that sort of magazine is clearly against school rules."

I got a big laugh out of this one. Seeing Aly change in front of her has *definitely* given Kat a new look on birds - and Annie's response was very true to character, too. An enjoyable and appropriate epilogue.

Ohhh, how sweet! I like the artwork in the painting in this one. I'm happy to see that Kat's new perspective on birds is a positive one and that she's not brought down by the sight of them.
Also, yay! Annie's back!

I was guessing that she was talking about the type of bird in the painting, but after some research on wikipedia and google, I have found nothing, only some spanish or mexican athletics club. I too am in need of knowing what chloacas are.

Apologies, I spelt it wrong: cloaca
Well... Where humans have separate systems for downstairs functions, like the digestive, reproductive and urinary, most birds have a 'one hole suits all' kinda system. Except for ducks and swans.
Yes. I am the official tone-lowerer.

The cloaca's a bird's second general purpose hole. (edit) Oops, too late.

Either Kat's just joking with Annie, or seeing her boyfriend transform into a crane snapped Kat's mind in two, and we can look forward to her marrying an ornithologist, assembling a large menagerie of birds, and talking to them for hours each day. Also, when Dr. Disaster retires, Kat will take his position.

this is the bird she was looking at: Either Kat's just joking with Annie, or seeing her boyfriend transform into a crane snapped Kat's mind in two, and we can look forward to her marrying an ornithologist, assembling a large menagerie of birds, and talking to them for hours each day. Also, when Dr. Disaster retires, Kat will take his position. You deserve an honour just for your avatar alone. edit; what is this! The bird is gone! Put it back!

It is REALLY CUTE. Honestly, my boyfriend didn't even turn into a bird and I'm all hot and bothered.

I'm using an avatar randomizer to toggle randomly between five different avis. So if you want to see the bird again, just hit refresh a few times. Also, the avatar in question is from here, just in case anyone didn't know.

Heh, I can see Kat doing this, just like people tend to have a fonder view of girlfriends/boyfriends/pets that look like the one they just lost. Nice work, Tom.
I just watched a Blue Planet dvd that showed cranes attempting to migrate over the Himalayas (an epic and moving struggle).
And I thought fondly of Alistair.

There's nothing wrong with Ogling a sexy bird.
