As anyone who checks this forum can tell, not much is happening, and there is no one to blame but me.

I love this project. I've loved it from the moment I read about it, and when offered the chance to direct it I jumped. That was late last summer, and I drastically overestimated the amount of time I would be able to devote to it and my own ability to manage it. There have been a number of times this year that I've thought I'd be able to get back to it, to at least get Chapter One out, but it just hasn't happened, and if I'm in charge it's not going to. I'm going off to school in August and I have no idea what's coming my way. If I can't work on this now, I certainly won't be able to then.

To everyone whose time I've wasted, I sincerely apologize. I hope that someone else will pick this project back up--I'm not deleting anything, and should someone want to take over, I would be thrilled to lend as much of a hand as I am able. But at this point, I just don't know how much that will be.

Also, thanks to the Google-YouTube merger I am now locked out of the GKCFanProject YouTube account. It felt like a bit of a sign.

Thank you for all of your time and work. I apologize again that I wasn't able to see this through. This comic is worth so much more attention than I was able to give it, and I deeply regret that.

I would, but I have like zero editing skills, and it would be weird to direct myself anyway.
Miri mentioned a while back that Ulysses was willing to take over if she was leaving...is that still true?
How far have we gotten, anyway? How is the sound stuff coming?

Hm, perhaps we ask around the forums and see who would like to, and have them post a example of their image/video editing skills to test if they are able to do the job, then have people vote for the editor and a secondary poll for a directer which can just be who ever seems to be relatively active in the forums, or at least seems to have some leading ability/good at giving ideas/ect..?

As far as I know I was going to edit the visual and vocals together, as I did in the teaser. I don't know whether Miri was going to get me to edit the SFX in as well.
I'm happy to keep doing the editing if people like.

Sorry about that then, if you are already the editor, I don't think there would be much point to voting up to see if anyone is capable of the position. Unless you happen to want a aid or something, otherwise I guess for now I will see about opening a topic to get a new director. Hm, it might actually be good to have several editors working on it anyway, was there anyone else other then you working on it?

I don't mind someone else editing if they'll do a better job, but I'm happy to continue doing it if people think my work's up to scratch. As far as I know it was just me editing but like I said I don't know what was happening with the sound FX. I'll check with Miri, also I'll ask what her main duties as Director were so the next one knows what they're stepping into.

Hm, no point in switching all the staff(aka you), just because one person left. We might need a few extra editors anyway, simply to make the job easier or quicker, assuming you want any help.
