Well, yeah, that doesn't look good. I was hoping that Red was mostly wallowing in self-pity and that's why she was being such a prick, but maybe not.
Eh, find the early update yourself. It's not that hard.

I like how she refers to Kat as 'Mister'. Really, I just like everything about this one.

Somehow, I get this whole "Midsummer Night's Dream" vibe from Red's hair, panels 2 and 6. I'm betting Red knows neither Annie's nor Kat's names either. This will be fun.

It's only fair. Annie and Kat don't know her name, either.

I love the epxressions in the 6th and the last panels, heh. Sumgness vs. shock-horror. Hee. Mudmaniac, I totally see what you mean. Red has a very Puck vibe about her anyhoo, now that I think on it. Also, Tom, there's a typo in panel 5. "wierd" should be "weird".

I had thought that Annie's words to Blue on the preceding page might do a lot for patching up the old friendship - but with Red displaying that kind of attitude, maybe not.

"...yer a bunch of weird faces."
Heh, seems like the social behavior of faeries is much different than of humans. I wonder if they knew each other's names before, it would seem odd that (as faeries mind you) they would try and helped each other get 'killed' passing on into a different life as humans, without knowing each other's names. Interesting relationship they must have had, I hope Tom dwells on that later in the storyline.

Did the fairies go by names before they came to the school? The ones that go to the school didn't, no.

Yeah, I was going to look for that question to Tom, fairies don't have names if they're taking the test, so Red wouldn't know Blue's name.
Still, the whole point is going to be around, do fairies (blue) get into the human social rules, or they stick to fairy social rules? If it's the first, I think Red is going to beat the dust...if it's then later, we might still be surprised.
I love how Red looks all super-sayin with that hair

hey, but what if she is right? after all they are fairies, why should we assume that they think and act like humans do. Blue said that after they passed the text Red changed, now, from the little I have seen her as a fairy I can't see a huge change in behaviour in her, (actually maybe there is a bigger change in Blue), she act pretty much the same , even if a little more nervous. The only actual change seems to be in the hair. So it is not impossible that she is right about it. oh, and Hi, everybody, found the comic in Graphic Smash, read it all (twice), got hooked to it, Very good comic, nice art, good story, great characters and intriguing setting. And now I've joined the forum (with what is probably a wrong speculation, a good start, isn't it !? ).

Well I think we can assume that they have names now, and Red had all summer to learn Blue's.

did anyone else wonder if "wassername" is actually her name? i've heard stranger last names, and if they got to choose their own names... *shrug* just a thought

Also, Tom, there's a typo in panel 5. "wierd" should be "weird". With faerie, i woulda guessed spelling and grammar are optional, tho i believe Tom has since corrected the mistake so nothing to it. As i know, faerie have always been portrayed as being rather capricious and are as such Red's behaviour seemed very much in line. I would think that perhaps its Blue that has started to become more human in her mannerisms, and thus resulting in the rift in their friendship.

Yeah, I wrote that on the comments, maybe wassername is her name, maybe...
I agree that I think Blue is getting more human...and besides the whole point of changing bodies and become human is...well...becoming human! No point of sticking to your previous self, right?

I'll admit that I read "wassername" as wah-ser-nam-eh, which sounded like a name to me...until Kat made that comment and I felt stupid especially since I should have realized that it wasn't capitalized Red is getting more annoying and less pitiable in this update and I'm beginning to understand Blue's decision not to be friends with her much better now.

Does the font even have two different cases? If it does, Tom clearly doesn't use it.
