All I have to say is, "Awwwwwww...". Well done page today.

Somehow, puns involving the word "flyboy" are deemed innapropriate at this juncture.
I will now harbour the hope that one day Aly would return in human form to meet Kat again. No one has mentioned at any point that these 'new-body tests' are one-way, as evidenced by the faerie.

Personally, I think that Kat's going to treasure that hug far more than anything in the "pretty good haul".
I also suspect that her pillow's going to be very damp for the next few nights.

Speaking of Aly's feet (and I hadn't noticed that detail until today - now I'm going to have to look over the three preceding pages to see if they were there), we now know why he had such big feet in the scene when Annie was holding him off the ground (which got some discussion at the time, I recall).
Just checked the three preceding pages, and they all show Aly only from the waist up (except for the one from last Monday where we first see what he's turning into, and there his feet are hidden by his blanket), so it wasn't until this morning's page that we finally saw what was happening to his feet.

See, this is what I meant by disturbing.
Turning into birds is all fun and games until someone's feelings get hurt.

All I can say for this comic is ''awwww'' and "sniff''. Well done Tom, I really felt the emotion in this one.
Also, there's a little part of myself that wishes it was in Kat's situation right now...I don't know if that's either weird, cool, or very sad(being given a hug from a guy with wings must be a pretty special feeling). I don't know why, I like the concept of forbidden or impossible love...

That last panel is very touching.
And from a storytelling standpoint, the entire chapter has been building up to that hug.

I hope that Annie will come into the tower room after Aly and his parents go flying off to the forest. Kat's going to need some comforting as she sees her boy-friend leave. (And - to Reynardine and any spiritual cousins of his in this forum - I'm not talking about that kind of comforting. Keep your minds out of the gutter.)

I'm scared that Aly and his folks will become allies of the Very Nice Man when it comes time to attack the Court. Although in this webcomic, it might very well happen that Annie and Kat befriend the ol' chap. But if it doesn't.... Whose side will Rey be on? I suppose Annie's, since she has control over him, but will he like it or not?

I don't do that often XD)What if this whole chapter was a kind of 'recruiting chapter'? Like, when the time comes to attack the Court, will Aly and his family be like the people on the inside, like an inside job? :3 Just like Robot and the shadow people...this is all leading up to something, I just know it! >:3 Rey would be on Annie's side, because it's pretty dern obvious he doesn't like his cousin I can just imagine an awkward moment in the next page, with Aly's dad saying something along the lines of, "That's ma boy!" or "Wow, you're quite the little womanizer aren't 'cha?" But considering his dad's a bird and all... :[

I dunno. This would seem a lot more charming and sweet to me if it didn't seem like Aly's parents coerced him into being freaking polymorphed.
Is no one picking up on:
1) Aly's parents are enormously selfish 2) One of two things is going on here: either Aly really wants to be transformed or he's an idiot 3) There has to be SOMETHING that can be done for him?
