I really like this guest comic. The are is extremely well done, and the contrast between the blankness of her expression and the depth of her emotions is very moving.

I saw it more as kids have to put on a brave face, appear stoic on the outside, but inside those actions hurt them deeply and they can't or don't show it, even rolling stoically past her couch-surfing father to go let her pain out in the private of her room.
It's extremely poignant and topical in my opinion. As I said on the other thread where I was directing people to this guest comic, bullying in schools is really large in the national dialogue right now, and this message comes at a good time. I hope it sheds some light on the inner pain that these kids go through.
