www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=530i probably should have brought this up back when it was current, but tom's comment, combined with what we know from the "Diego" arc seems to suggest that the important word is "waiting." www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=658My theory is that she was down there waiting for "him." After all, many people expressed doubt at the time that she really knew the full nature of the plan. I bring this up now because given what annie knows, combined with here new strength in the ether AND her ownership of the coyote tooth, I find it likely that we will be seeing more of jeanne in the next 3-6 chapters. (LAUGHING ON LINE @ my wide range)

I always thought it was "you". Because it's in bold.

It'll probably be a while before Annie meets with Jeanne again and helps her. Aside from the current predicament she's in (which, as I've mentioned elsewhere, could mean a long time before she gets to do much free range adventuring), getting down to the ravine to face her isn't going to be easy. It's outside the Court's bounds, not officially part of the Wood (so they can't treat it as just another visit to Coyote) - and the Court administration might not be so cooperative once they learn the business about Jeanne (including the part about how Annie freeing Jeanne would remove the defensive properties of the Annan).
Also, these kinds of feats are often saved for the final year.
