Judge, you have it posted as an attachment instead of an image... if that helps. unless.... the king of the robots has come to see this upstart robot religion for himself! and persecute its followers for upsetting the natural balance of the robot kingdom! [kidding] That's... not really all that bad of a guess, actually... Oh BTW did anyone else notice the similarities between King-bot's body and Robot's original body? Maybe S13 was dismantled in a closet at the beginning of the comic because he was next in line to be "king" and his usurping younger brother (S14?) had him taken out of the picture! Wait, what? This isn't the Wild Spec thread??

I don't know. I tried a few attachment experiments. Maybe it has to do with the file size or the image size? *shrug*

Hey, guys, in case there's still anyone that doesn't follow Tom's Twitter page...
Someone tweeted Tom saying "oh my god those are my favorite court robots yet"
And Tom's enigmatic and titillating answer: "Wait til Wednesday."
Oooooh, something to look forward to! (Above the amount that we all already look forward to the next page, of course.)

I can neither describe nor explain the exquisite joy this page provided for me.

3) From this angle, it looks like Tom gave Annie quite the fashionable coat! It's all asymmetrically buttoned with one big pocket on the front. Is it really so fashion-crazy, or is it just that she's turned 1/4 away from us in the fourth panel? It's just an awesome coat. Check, check, check it out. Panel 7. King of the Lab Robots! Specifically, robots under 2 feet tall.

Okay, my prediction: Robots mistake Annie for the "Angel", and adore her while completely ignoring Kat before the Sky Watcher impatiently corrects their error.

The parade is just like the King of Cats arrival in 'The Cat Returns', which means I can now imagine that King Robot has the voice of Tim Curry.

I feel silly for saying this, but my first thought when looking at the king-bot was 'what the heck is King Bob from Recess doing in Gunnerkrigg?' XD

EDIT: Dammit, why isn't my attachment visible right away? Your honor, to make your pic display in the post, first upload it to the internet somewhere (I use photobucket) and copy the url of the pic. Paste the url into your post with img tags before and after it, like so: [img]http://www.example_picture_url.jpg[/img] As for the comic itself, "Haha! What?" indeed.

Of course if he is, he is probably secretly planning to overthrow the robot king and usurp his throne, because all royal advisors are actually evil, conniving types with delusions of grandeur and ultimate power. I watch a lot of movies. But he have no goatee. I thought that all evil chancellors, advisers & c. had always a goatee, or at least a pair of twirly mustaches a'la Dick Dastardly.

Kingbot is shaped like an ape. That's kind of funny. Kat's understated greeting, despite her shock at first, says to me she's seen this coming.
Hail King Kongbot!

Apparently the robots worship the number 8. Or the much more philisophical sounding "infinite sideways". I wonder what song Fanfarebot is playing? Hopefully this one (At least, that's what they're playing in my head): (skip to 2:20 or so) Nah. That crown wouldn't fit on Sky Watcher's head at all. Hey, that didn't bother King John (see above video).

Well, programmers love 8. It would stand to reason robots would enjoy it by inheritance.
Actually any power of 2 would be cool. 8 is two to the third. If you add two and three you get five, which is magically significant. Then again, so is three. Two is computationally significant because machine language at base level is binary.
Numbers are fun.

At the end of this chapter Robot wakes up in his mouse body and is all "Daaaaang just another crazy robot dream!" The Kingbot is adorable, he doesn't even have a mouth. Love it. That's. . . kinda what I'm hoping for, at this point.

I guess she was, a little. EDIT: I'm surprised nobody has pounced on that already... Well, actually Also, Annie gave Kat her scarf. maaww... Nice friends gesture, and a great detail on Tom's part that contributes nothing in particular to plot but spades and spades to subtle, realistic characterization. I had mentioned it earlier to praise it for its subtlety, and also its total unnecessary inclusion in the plot. Perhaps its lower plot-bunny-generation-capacity makes it less visible to other readers? I just loved it because it's totally something Annie and Kat would do, but that Tom didn't feel the need to devote whole panels or a whole page to the transaction. I appreciate the style of storytelling.

I wonder what song Fanfarebot is playing? Hopefully this one (At least, that's what they're playing in my head). Argh, the nostalgia! I'm going to be going through my old movies for hours now looking to see if I still own that (on VHS, most likely... oh crap do I even own a VCR anymore!?) And how is it that you and I were thinking of the exact same song for Kingbot's fanfare? Hmm.. I may sense similar episodes of disney-induced brainwashing in our youth.
