Why not? I've gone camping in places where I've opened my tent door to find a bison 4 feet away from me. Now a question: Is it weird that I hope Jack becomes a more regular character? Maybe he even chills out, and makes nice with Annie. Because there's something about him that I really enjoy him (I don't know if "like" is the right word.)

Gasp. Who woulda expected Quesletts North and South to be camping together... Who wouldn't have? The residential was announced at the assembly that appeared to have the entirety of Year 8 there.

Camping among laser cows would be scary if the cows are among the tents at night. Imagine waking to go the toilets in the middle of the night, and just as you are about to exit your tent a cow's lasers go off in front of you. Or just walking at night with those glowing red eyes everywhere.

Just when things couldn't get any worse... Jack's here, and Reynardine isn't. This is a recipe for disaster.

I like Jack, he's interesting and I want to know what he saw in Zimmy's little world. So it's good to see him here!
He really likes to do that eyebrow thing, doesn't he.

Laser cows among the tents... Oh, and that head-turn reminds me of something, but I'm not sure what. That's otherwise natural scene rendered as a "dramatic pass-by shot", even though not in the most generic variant. Choose an example you saw, or press "related to..." for more; this may be a reference to some subset of these. I like Jack, he's interesting and I want to know what he saw in Zimmy's little world. At any rate, 100:1 that he saw just enough to get some long-term sleep problems. Ye saw too much of envykipedia.orc

It's Jack! Still looking creepy, I see. This could get interesting.
I just had the thought that maybe the laser cows are among the tents like that for the student's protection.....

That was nothing even remotely resembling a dramatic pass-by shot, and please stop trying to trope-ize everything for God's sake.

Okay now how to decipher Annie's expression there, what with skewed lips and such?
My takes:
- Geez, him again. - Crap, I am *so* not looking forward to this. - Shoot. Should've brought Rey here.
Hmm... If Annie ever need Rey's help, how fast can Rey arrive after being summoned through the Blinker stone?

Just when things couldn't get any worse... Jack's here, and Reynardine isn't. And we should be thankful for that. Without Reynardine interfering, things might get interesting. How is a teenager expected to have any fun when there is a demon constantly hanging around, acting like some overprotective parent? Annie isn’t afraid of gods, ghosts, and monsters; she can handle boys her age just fine. Well, maybe she has some issues with boys, but there’s no way to overcome those without practice.

It's the I-think-I-know-that-guy...-could-that-be...-and-suddenly-he-turned-around-and-see-me kind of act. Which makes it even creepier. Anyways, i just read the page's comments, and couldn't help wondering: Is Jack taking a leak there?

Jack has to stay in the story. The way things are going it seems like one day he'll be one of the strongest voices against the Forest. Most of the kids their age simply have a distaste for anything related to Chester house. Jack, however, has firsthand experience of something both etheric and horrifying- being lost in Zimmy's dimensional prison by himself. That alone tells me that once he can make a connection between Zimmy and Gillitie Wood, he's going to organize a resistance of some kind.

By the way I think you passed up an opportunity up above to make a great rhyme:
Wearin' black hoodie, he's up to no... goodie...
Just keepin' it silly, for Jimbob's sake.
...or should I say "Just keepin' it silly, for Jimbobbowilly"...

I didn't see it at first, but now I can't see Jack doing anything other than peeing on that tree.
And then his smirk turns from "menacing" to "inviting"
and that just opens up a completely different realm of creepy.

Hmm... If Annie ever need Rey's help, how fast can Rey arrive after being summoned through the Blinker stone? If she's got Eglamore's beacon, she can just snap that and he'll be there. Most likely through the use of single-bounding.
