Well, there seems to be a glitch on Gunnerkrigg.com, but it should be moving now.

It's rather early for a new page to be up. And there isn't a new page up.

I'd put money on Tom updating or changing something that caused the page to go up early and be quickly fixed, because we're still a few hours from a new page but the comments have reset to 0, and there definitely were some before.

Looks like the image file for page 2236 has been 404'd, but the new chapter icon still exists: Elf encampment?

Looks like the image file for page 2236 has been 404'd, but the new chapter icon still exists: Spoilered until it goes up but: The green background behind the tents in the chapter icon makes me think they haven't been allowed through the shield and are camped outside the forest. They could be in Young Park I suppose but since one of Loup's trees grew there it'd be pretty dangerous territory now. Edit: Unspoilered now, and first, cookies for a good catch jda , second, yep, they're probably locked out.

Well, I guess there will be a lot of moving happening. Elves will be moving into some sort of refugee camp. Probably in the red zones, but they can deal with runaway trees so I guess the court deals with them so they have a good old catch-22: If they deal with the runaway trees, good. If they get dealt by them and dont survive, not really bad. I guess it would be the appropriate time to mention that this does not reflect my view, but my understanding on how outright cruel the court _can_ be (and was in the past). Our heroes will be moving around a lot, because that is what heroes do. Finally, the robots might start moving again, and this will cause some mayor problems with the shield depending on them quite a bit. But because the shield is only working partially anyway, The damage of that might be contained to sub catastrophic levels.

(NO) robots here. Clearly.

Well, unless this chapter is a lot about all the elves being shushed away by the shield and Court authority and Annies finding an Etheric way to Moses the new refugees through, this would be the purpose of Idra, to guide them on the roots underground canals.

I feel like there's a little bit of trolling here.
Either the picture is wrong, and it won't be about getting the robots to move. Or the general assumption of elves is wrong, and it won't be about getting the elves from Elfzanar re-settled into the Court.
It will probably be the elf one. The robots could be pictured because they are needed to lower the shield enough to let a bunch of forest people in.

Though the shield isn't 100% effective, the Court might think it could be better used further out. That might be an extra advantage of having the robots as projectors. Not only a dispersed and redundant system, but one with legs, therefore extendable. I wonder if the shield would get weaker by increasing its coverage, or if Etheric hand-waving would make it just as capable?
There's also being "moved" emotionally. I imagine, the refugees will cause some emotional divides, and some might be moved to take one side or another. I wonder if the Carver twins might take different POVs?

I was hoping you'd put two and two together and realize that Randy Disaster is far, far more important to the Court than anyone ever imagined... The world (and martians) will tremble as the Gunnerkrigg Spacemonauts assemble!!!

They're gonna be Shrek's neighbor's? Or maybe Luke Skywalker's. (Time travel may also be required, since that was "A long time ago.")
