Yes girls, piss off the extremely powerful and probably crazy entity who has just gotten angry and ignored the advice of his even more powerful and only slightly less crazy predecessor. That will work out well.

Loup is, of course, referring to the beer he's been brewing. He's been dying for an excuse to raise the topic; preferably in pint pots. That either Annie is not yet at drinking age would not faze a sociopathic omnipotence one jot.
"Is this ache water?" "Oh noooo! More like... belch water."

Can anyone explain what dimension the Annies are in? It doesn't quite look normal...

Can anyone explain what dimension the Annies are in? It doesn't quite look normal... Loup can't keep both space and time stable at the same time in the forest. He promised time would pass normally, so to keep this promise he shrugged space altogether

I guess if Loup is ever going to introduce the other Annie (Annother? Onni(e) if she's lucky) now would be the time...

Well, that escalated quickly. He could be taking them to an Alanis Morissette "Jagged Little Pill" concert.

"Welcome to Loup's Bitter Shoving Paw. Please keep your hands and arms inside the ride at all times. Management is not responsible for any extra (or original) Annies you may encounter on your way out."

I predict for the next page... A pot of super black coffee and nothing else! A pot of super black coffee and two tiny reddish dots near the middle would be funnier. But unlikely.

I guess if Loup is ever going to introduce the other Annie (Annother? Onni(e) if she's lucky) now would be the time... Why would there be another one? Well if neither of the two Annies belong here according to Clippy, there should be one from this timeline. And some people (I really don't remember who, those conversations were from several pages ago) thought Loup might have kept one Annie to himself as bargaining chip, or just so that he would keep the "original" Annie by his side because he "loves" her so much. It wouldn't be unexpected (for me) for Loup to reveal that now, in his current state of mind, and with his apparent threat to the Annies.

There is also the possibility that the Annie we all know and love since page 1 already was originally from another timeline. That's possible, but also not very useful. Until Loup arrived, we were following one Annie, and only that one Annie, even if that Annie wasn't the "real" Annie. On the other hand, the existence of a third Annie is a very real possibility. The look that Alternate Universe Kat (or Original Recipe Kat? Who knows?) gives at the end of "New Contract" suggests that she knows and realizes that neither one of these Annies is "her" Annie - and she doesn't like it.
